As the first years and seconds years start to board onto the train, Aurora waits patiently for her friends. It's been a while since she's seen them, or more specifically, "Him".

She's been dreading this moment since summer fastly ended. Her and Draco barely talked or saw each other during the break since he's been basically avoiding her. Aurora was sure that there must've been a good reason even though it was very strange of him to act like this.

Her palms dampened with sweat as she anxiously awaited. Not realizing that someone was already sitting in front of her in her compartment as she was still in her thoughts.

"Aurora"

She snapped out of her worried thoughts and made her way to look at the person sitting with a questionable look on their face.

"Aurora, are you alright?"

Her eyesight blurry for a second, as they cleared up she can make out a very poofy brown-haired girl, It was Hermione. "Hi Hermione, yes I'm fine just very anxious as always, nothing new".

Hermiones worried face shifted into a sly smile as her eyes sparkled just a bit.

"Have you seen Harry and Ron anywhere?"

"No I haven't seen anyone actually, I thought they would be with you." Right as Aurora said that two people pushed their way into the compartment, It was Harry and Ron.

"Honestly I think that I should take Cho or Ginny. Who are you taking", said the boy with glasses as he sat down next to Aurora.

"I don't know yet, hm, you know not everyone wants to go with me I don't have that many options," said the boy stuffing his mouth with liquorice wands.

Well of course that's what they were talking about, the grand masquerade ball. That's all everyone has been talking about. Aurora can imagine already how she wants things to go that night, Her in a beautiful long dress that goes off the shoulder, and as you get lower and lower there's a slit right under her knee. a black mask, no one can tell who's who. Pretty dark sky with the moon that shines so bright. The darker the sky, the more you can see, The dimmer the streets, the stronger the glow. The deeper the shade, the lighter the view. Her and Draco dancing at the ball as he whispers sweet nothings in her ear. The night will go perfectly.

Aurora lost in her own thoughts, staring at blank nothing. Caught the eyes of someone. They were very deep like the ocean, He caught her eyes too.

Hazel as ever, the sun making them look even lighter.

As he stood there, it was the person she most dreaded seeing. Aurora not even noticing him getting closer and closer and she spoke to the three in front of her.

"Aurora" said the pale boy

"Draco"

"Hey can we go talk somewhere else" not even acknowledging Potter Granger and Weasley.
