I was eating slowly, trying to delay the talk I was about to have.

I was dreading.

I asked mom to finish the food first before tell her everything. Luckily she agreed. I was hungry before but suddenly lost the appetite.

My mom already finished her food and was waiting for me on couch while I was finishing food.

Finally I forced down the last bite down my throat.

I took the plate and placed it in sink then washed my hands. I looked over mom, she was sitting on couch while going through some magazine, waiting for me.

I never had 'the talk' with mom. Never. She was too busy to mind my business so this was new to me. I never saw her angry, I don't have a single clue how she might react.

I just wasn't ready to be questioned about who I was dating.

I sighed and dragged my legs towards her. She looked up and motioned me to sit down. We both were sitting across eachother, at the end of couch.

She crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow, looking at me.

I knew it was my cue to speak.

I looked down at my hands which were on my lap and took a deep breath.

"I'm dating Octavia" I said without looking up.

"What?!"

"I said I'm dating Octavia" I repeated, quietly

"I heard you for the first time!" This time I looked at her. She was fuming.

"Mo-" she cut me off

"What the hell were you thinking?!!" She shouted. I flinched. She saw that and her face softened a bit.

I saw her calming herself down as she was taking long breaths. She slumped down more and placed her head on her palms.

I didn't know what to do.

I stood and ran to kitchen. I opened the fridge and grabbed a bottle of cold water.

She needed to calm down.

I ran hurriedly and gave bottle to her. She gratefully accepted and drank it.

I didn't know why it was bothering her so much.

I sat back in my place, looking at her as she was thinking, maybe taking in.

She cleared her throat "What about Ashely? I thought you both were together"

Help me lord.

"We are together" I muttered

"Let me get this straight, you're dating Ashley and Octavia both?"

I nodded.

"Does Ashley knows about it?" She asked coldly.

I shrugged.

"And Octavia, is she fine with you marrying Ashley and have an affair with you?" She was grossed out.

"Uh, about that" I chuckled nervously "She might think I'll call off the wedding. I never explained her anything"

"ALEXANDRA! I DIDN'T RAISE YOU TO BE A CHEATER" She yelled loudly as she stood up.

I flinched. I don't remember her raising me, or being here for me.

But I couldn't just say that to her.

I suddenly stood up "I'm so sorry mom but I'm in love with both of them."
