It was nearing halloween... meaning it has been two years since Izzie was attacked by Matt and I'm noticing the effects. I guess it's just the memory of it that circling her mind. She doesn't want to be cuddled as much or touched really when were home. She tends to stay at her own place and just facetime me before bed instead of us just staying together.

Seeing her in the mornings at work before they cover her freckly face in make-up it is clear that she isn't getting any sleep by the looks of the dark circles under her eyes and the gallons of coffee she's been drinking.

I tried to speak to her about it but she says she's fine though I don't beleive her I leave her to it as she clearly doesn't want to talk about it which is fine. But I want to be there for her and I don't really know how. So I just watch her and make sure she's not breaking. Currently she is sat with Claire and Bee on the floor of the green room they had their scripts out in front of them so I assumed they were running lines. Izzie was leant against the wall her eyes bearly open.

"Take her home Ian... She's no good to anyone with no sleep." Julie says sitting down beside me on the couch. "She won't leave." "She's falling asleep, she's not going to put up too much of a fight if you just go over there and scoop her up." I looked at her with a raised eyebrow clearly she didn't know Izzie. "Please, I'm telling you she needs to go home. I can't have her at work whilst she's like this. When she's had a sleep and something proper to eat. Not that green stuff she's been eating. I mean Pizza or pasta then I will talk to her about coming back until then she's to stay at home." "Julie i really don't think thats the best idea." "I need to look out for my empolees and I'm telling you she is not to be on set. If she doesn't leave she'll be assessed by a doctor and she won't be able to return until they say she's okay to." I nodded looking over at Izzie. She was exhausted. "I'll get her stuff together and come back for her." I say. "I'll break the news... You're to stay with her too. I don't want to see either of you." "Okay." I agreed knowign it was what was best for her.

Being at work destracted her from everything but she needed sleep and Julie was right she could probably do with some actual food. All this healthy stuff isn't for her... She's a 'foody' at heart. I let myself into her dressing room and pack her bag up. She had her laptop with her today and a few other work bits so I put it all away before going back into the green room. Izzie was smiling at Julie but Julie had a stern look on her face. "Come on." I say nudging my head towards the door. "You're part of this?" She asked almost amused. "Yep you need sleep and a good cuddle with some food." "I need to be at work doing my job." "Not today not tomorrow or the next day." Julie said. "You're on break... thats the boss telling you." Julie said being firm with her for once. Normally shes joking around with Bella because she is such an easy girl to get on with. But today her hard working self is being sent home and she's not happy about it. "Fine.' She gave in not wanting to cause a scene. She walked over to me and took her backpack throwing it over on shoulder then picked up her cup of ice water from starbucks off the counter and left.

"Good luck with that sweetie." Julie said waving me off. "If I'm not back in three days she's murded me." I call as I leave the room. I catch up with Izzie at the cars. "Yours or mine?" I asked her opening my car door and waiting for her response to get in so I could drive to her prefered destination. "Just follow me." She said closing her car door.

I did as told and two hours later we were pulling up at the stables. "Julie said you need to sleep." "Well sleeping and relaxing at the same things." She said slamming the car door shut. Yeah you sure are relaxed. I think to myself as I follow her through. We clean the four stables out together, brush their manes and walk them around the out door pen.

"I'm just going to chill here for a while. You can head home." She says putting a sadel on Buttons her yungest horse who was about 4. "I'll stay take Eagle out for a while." She nodded and continued doing what she was doing.
