The darkness was suffocating but I was used to it by now.
The silence inside my own head was suffocating my emotions were everywhere but somehow it was peaceful.

Flashback
I kept on running there screams still haunted me. My parents have been killed by the burned ones. And I had lost control and done something to my foster parents. I ran. The forest surrounded me. The trees moved around me as if  they were taunting me. I was beginning to lose hope trying to find my way out of here. I looked to my right and saw a mysterious figure it looked like a woman in specialists gear. I ran towards her hysterically screaming for help. She knelt before me and said 'I've been waiting you for a long time, you've always been mine'. I looked at her, something about her was off. I had a slight feeling in my gut to run away from her but I didn't listen. I should have then I wouldn't be in this mess.

That woman took me in for years I had told her how my parents were killed and how I had lost control. Throughout the years with her. Her name was Rosalind she used me as a puppet. I was trained for anything, in combat weaponry and potions. As well as in torture and shadows. But all throughout that hell I had kept on using the ring I had found to get back into the Otherworld to see Bloom and that was my only escape.

That was until Miss Dowling had found me. I wasn't old enough to go to Alfea so she said I could go back to the first world until it was time, as I still had a life there.

Back to the present

I shot up from the bed in shock. What had happened. I rubbed my eyes and looked up. By the side of me I saw him, the one person who I was secretly glad to see. Riven, he was sat in the chair next to my bed waiting for me to wake up. I then though this is my chance. I slowly sneaked behind his chair and crawled to the back.
I counted under my breath 3.....2......

But before I could even get the chance I was smoothly manoeuvred straight on to his lap. My face was facing his. He brought his face closer to mine whilst whispering 'I'm glad you didn't die'. I then smirked at him 'is that all you have to say to me today'.

He whispered near my ear 'there is a lot more I would rather do'. Jesus frickin Christ this man. It seemed that the whole dorm had heard I was up as they all suddenly burst through the door. And it also seemed that they were ear dropping on our conversation because they were very clearly but failing to hide their smirks.

I quickly realised where I was and got off his lap and sat on my bed with a slight blush on my cheeks. Riven proceeded to looked at me, 'I'll see you later, okay'. I just nodded at him a bit clueless at what to say. The girls quickly ran to my bed and as I flopped backwards saying 'Ughhhhhh feelings are so confusing'. Musa looked at me with a pout 'and I wish I could read them'. I then just smugly stuck my tongue out at her.

'Sooo you and Riven'. I then instantly shot back 'What about you and Sky'. Stella then looked at both of us, I hoped she was slowly getting over him. I know she needed him as a safety net but she knew they had a connection and no matter what I would support them both. The rest of the morning we continued to gossip and chat about everything and anyone. It was finally fun to also act and be like a teenager and not worry about what was to come or what was behind you all the time.
