Beep! Beep! I clicked off my alarm clock and let out a big sigh. I got out of my canopy bed and entered my closet to pick out something to wear. I found a Ralph Lauren cotton sweater, some black jeans, and my Doc Martens.

By the time I was done getting dressed, Alfred, my butler, came knocking and telling me it was time for breakfast.

"Time for breakfast, Ms. Anthony."

"Aria is fine." I chuckled knowing that this is the type of conversation we have every day. He smiled and then I heard his footsteps receding.

French toast, a butter croissant, and a glass of orange juice. If you asked me I didn't mind having a butler, thankfully Alfred was my favorite out of the rest of the people in my house. The chef, the maid, the gardener, the chauffeur, etc. They were all fine, but having all those people in your house 24/7 overwhelmed me a lot. I was happy I could always go back to my room. It was my happy place.  It was the start of fall, early September, and so the colors outside were beautiful. I headed downstairs and greeted my father, Andrew, who was in his study working. As usual.

"Hello, father." I greeted him. He always reminds me to be polite and say hello whenever you enter a room. I've been trying to work on my manners knowing that I was in the ninth grade now.

"Hello, my beautiful daughter. What's on today's agenda?" He looked up and smiled.

"Just school. Like normal." He always asked me that question which made me laugh because I always had the same response. Maybe because it was the art of always staying in the same routine. I don't know, I couldn't tell you.

"Well, hurry along and eat breakfast. You don't want to be late." He smiled and then continued his work.
I closed the door and went to the table. I said thank you to Margaret, the chef. She smiled and nodded her head and then went back to the kitchen.

"Hello, darling." My mother, Rose, said as I sat down.

"Good morning." I greeted back.

"You're late." She raised both eyebrows and gave me that look.

"Only a few minutes. I won't be late for school."

"I don't care. You go to a very prestigious school and they expect people to not be on time. I will not allow you to be on time. You must be early. That is proper etiquette."

"But, I always end up being early anyways."

"You were late. We have a scheduled time that you need to follow by. End of conversation." She then got up and left.

There was not much I could say. My parents thought very highly of me and they needed me to excel. My family has a very long history of excellence and they never failed. It was a lot of pressure though knowing you have this very long history you can't mess up. My family was known and is watched 24/7. You do the slightest thing and the whole world knows. But, luckily I had time to get used to it. I finished up eating and then went outside. I was greeted by Henry, the chauffeur. He handed me my backpack, opened the door, and then I went inside. We headed off to school. If you asked me what I thought about my school, I wouldn't say much. Just a bunch of other rich kids, but unlike me, they're snotty and think the world revolves around them. I didn't mind though, I was used to it. I just kept my distance from them and hung around the people I did actually like, Luna and Dylan. They had been my best friends since kindergarten. Mostly just because we all fit together and they weren't like the other kids. None of us really liked the same things. But, that's what made us so perfect.  All of our different interests really just flowed together. I enjoyed being around them and I guess that's really just important. I mean we all kind of went through the same things, because of the whole idea of growing up in the families we did, so yeah. I got to school and opened the door myself, which made Henry mad because of how much pride he takes in his job.

"Seriously?" He tilted his head.

"You should know me by now," I smirked.

"Whatever," he rolled his eyes. "Have a wonderful day." He smiled.

I was already halfway in the door. "Bye!" Eyes were turned toward me since I was essentially yelling at a big crowd of students, but it didn't faze me. I went to my locker and was greeted by Luna and Dylan.

"Hey!" They both said at the same time.

"Hello!" I smiled.

"Oh my god, you will not believe it!" Luna started.

"Chase and Alexandria are dating now! They confirmed." Dylan squealed. They both smiled at me.

I laughed. "And that is surprising to you, how?" I opened my locker and they went on the other side to see me.

"It's not necessarily surprising, there is just gonna be a lot of drama to come with that," Dylan said.

"Yeah. I mean Lucy has liked him for like 5 years." Luna leaned against the locker.

"That's what's funny to me," We started to walk to first period. "She has had all this time to confess her feelings, but she didn't. I have to laugh."

"True, but besides the point. I wouldn't be surprised if there was something juicy to go down. And, let's just say I wouldn't be mad either."

Dylan nodded his head at Luna's statement and then looked at me. "Come on, life is boring and we're desperate."

"Now that is something I can agree with." We got to first period and sat down.
In my head, I knew this was going to be an interesting period because Lucy, Chase, and Alexandria were all gonna be in here together. Let the chaos begin.
