"Shit shit shit". I yelled as I pace around the room with a test to confirm my suspicions. How could I let this happen, I'm so irresponsible

With a shaky hand, I open the door and throw the test to Aiko as she reads the result she embraces me into a hug
"How are you going to handle all of this"

"I don't really know, I mean I knew all the signs it's like I was in denial, now that I one hundred percent know that I'm pregnant I don't know how to handle this". My eyes start to water
"Don't cry I feel like everything will work out in your favor"

I reply suddenly getting hungry
"Let's order some pizza" I suggest to my friend just to be shut down
"No that's not healthy for my unborn niece or nephew" I will fix something

She ended up fixing me kale salad that I didn't really have a taste for

I know to lay in my bed thinking about the baby father of our child and wonder how I would bring it up to him or whether or not he should be in the baby's life leaving me a few weeks prior I decided I needed to sleep on it

It's been 17 weeks since that day and now my baby is 18 weeks and I'm going to find out the gender today but first I'm going to go get some much-needed cafe food and Aiko is busy so I'm by myself

But he grabbed my wrist and pulled me to a window seat of the cafe
After sitting there in silence glancing up at Kei occasionally only to meet his stoic stare I decided to break the ice

I don't know why but hearing him trying to take care of me when he left pissed me off
