"Veer, think carefully. Do you remember anything fishy? Any fights or issues? ", Rai asked.
I suddenly remembered the club incident and how Jai had harasses Bani and I had thrown him out of the company. But it was more than a year now to that incident.
I immediately told Rai about the same. He called his department and traced Jai's phone. Jai's old number was unavailable. Rai told the team to find her present location or phone number.
Within that time we decided to search around the broken castle. As I walked through the dark corridors, I heard water flowing underneath. I realised there was some tunnel or water channel under the floor.

Roshan and others were searching the other side. I saw a small metal gateway to the underground drain. I used all my force to open it. As I jumped in, I could see water flowing and the dark corridors. I switched on my mobile light and walked ahead. As I proceeded further I ended up in a bigger area. It was like a small underground room. The castle was a very old building that had not been in use for many years I suppose. I entered the opening of the space to get the shock of my life.

I saw Bani on the ground with her hands tied and one leg tied with a chain. She had a heavy wound on her forehead and was lying unconscious on the ground. As I rushed towards her and patted her face, calling her name, she opened her eyes slowly.
"Veerrr, you came! Woh Jai ne... ", she trailed off
" Shhh... It's ok... You are safe now.. Let me open you first." I opened her hands and removed the chain from her ankle. As I helped her get up I heard footsteps.
As I looked up I saw Jai.
"Welcome Veeranshu Singhania. You came so late. I thought you will come like a knight in shining armor but you look ordinary. You spoilt my entire life just for one small mistake. Iss do take ki ladki ke wajah se I came on to the roads. Sab mujhe boycott kardiye. You thought I will keep quiet. Huh! If I don't live peacefully, how can I let you both live happily. ", saying this he pulled out a gun and pointed at us. I immediately hid Bani behind me.
