Delilahs POV

I woke up in Lyrics room, I hurt in every inch of my body. I wanted a shower, as i got up a jolt of pain came into my chest and stomach. I fell onto the ground with a hard thud, Lyric came rushing in panicked.

"Are you okay, where does it hurt, how much do you remember, how are you feeling, do i need to take you to the doctors" she rambled worriedly while checking out all of my injuries.

"I'm fine Lyric, i just want a shower" i replied back, my voice Laced with sadness. She grabbed me my towel and helped me to our "Omega" showers. It was the bottom floor so we have to walk through the main living room and then through the kitchen and down the stairs. As we make our way to the bathroom I'm showered with hate full glares from everyone. Once we make it to the shower I immediately strip and look in the mirror, and what i saw frightened me, the words on my pale anorexic stomach were clear as a summer day... 'Reject'. Tears threatened to fall, but I quickly wiped them. I'm done crying over the pain, the rejection from our pack, and the neglect.
After my shower, I walked to my room. when I walked in there was a note on my bed the said " get ready the new alphas arrival is today."
Ugh, I so don't want to go to this, I grabbed a lilac dress that came down mid thigh, and a pair of black flats. I let my hair fall naturally, and put natural makeup on (mostly to cover up my bruises.) as I walk down the stairs I go in behind the crowd looking for lyric. I'm pushed and shoved around till I smack straight into a wall. Wait this wall gave me sparks, no it can't be. My eyes went wide as I look up to see a very attractive guy holding me, he has dark shaggy brown hair, with vibrant blue eyes that a girl can easily get lost in. But his eyes held something else. disgust, well this isn't going to end well. I fall hard onto the ground, everyone is watching now. With my breath shaky, he just walks away, angrily. I get up and dust my self off. I walk over towards the alcohol and decided to have maybe just a few glasses. I think it was after my 7th glass that I felt it kick in and it washed away all of my sorrow. I was left with nothing but numbness. I didn't feel anything and I enjoyed it. I went to grab some water to hydrate myself. And then everything went black.
Alex's POV
Ahhhh today is the day I become the alpha. I got out of bed and took a quick shower. After I was done, I decided It was best that I have a look around the new area. I walked around in the back field. My attention was shifted after I heard the sobs of a pack member. I continued to walk forward when I saw that a guy had a girl viscously pinned down, and was yelling in her ear. Which strangely made my wolf go into protective mode. That was weird. There was nothing I could do though since I was not alpha yet, so I just simply turned around and walked away.
Few boring hours later.
"Do you Alex Justin Lee promise to lead this pack with dignity, strength, and courage. and promise never to let evil blind you from what is the right thing to do" spoke the elder of the pack with confidence clearly ringing through his voice.
"I Alex Justin Lee promise to lead this pack with dignity, strength, and courage, and I promise I will never let evil blind me from what is the right thing to do" I spoke clearly radiating with the new alpha power I have gained. I was walking toward my group of friends when suddenly something ran into me. On instinct I held onto what ever had ran into me. but I instantly felt sparks that went all over my body. I looked down to see what my mate looked like, only to be disgusted by the result. I was angry, my mate was supposed to be beautiful, strong and confident. Not some weak, disgusting, reject of a mate. I then heard my wolf growl. I immediately dropped her and walked off. It was the most embarrassing thing that had ever happened to me. About an hour later I decided I'd see what she was up to. You could easily tell she had to much to drink. As she walked over to get water she fainted. As the new alpha I decided I would at least set her in bed so some idiot doesn't take advantage of her state. She looked so peaceful resting in my arms. I had a moment of awe before I wiped it away remembering how much of a disgrace she was. I set her in bed and watched her sleep.
