"SO BABY COME ON OVER, AH COME ON OVER TO MY SIDE" The group yelled at the top there lungs "WELL I MAY NOT LIVE PAST TWENTY-ONE BUT WHOOO WHAT A WAY TO DIE"
the teenagers where dancing around the campfire drinks in hand, to the radio playing the pleasure seekers new hit.

"Moony!"James yelled stumbling over to the tall boy flinging about his gangly limbs in an attempt of dancing "Heard you like Marls" James told the boy pointing a finger in his face, Remus could see a blushing Marlene behind James dancing with Mary. He grinned "You do you bloody legend!" James ruffled his hair in a proud older brother type of way. 

"Aw you guys would be lovely" Dorcas said dreamily, Lily nodded smiling and nudging Marlene. It all seemed rather juvenile to him.

"sorry about them" she blushed coming over to see him "you like me?"

"you like me," he replied, the drink giving him a newfound confidence. "well you do dont ya?" Marlene giggled and Remus put an arm around her 'see you like her, you haven't even thought about him- shit well that doesn't count'

"kiss me" he heard Marlene whisper, he turned to her looking up at him her eyes full of hope 'well who am i to say no' with that he felt their lips collide she ran her hand through his brown hair and he grabbed her waist pulling her further in. when they broke apart, breathing heavy her lips wet and still slightly parted, his eye caught Sirius who looked away quickly his black mop swishing behind him. "your good" Marlene said quietly pulling his attention back to her- a smile on her pretty face, Remus grinned back 'that was nice, you can do that'

allowing his eyes to wander he noticed the whole group par Sirius staring at them smiling mischievously, he looked back down at her she had looped her arms through his and around his back he nodded towards them gesturing for her to look too, she giggled awkwardly and moved to his side.

"what's happening with you and Marlene?" James teased him playfully grabbing his shoulder as he climbed into the tent joining Remus, followed by peter then finally Sirius.

"we kissed once" he replied smirking back at James 

"little Lupins a player boys and girls" James announced met by a roll of the eyes from Remus 

"what was it like?" Peter piped up zipping himself into his sleeping bag 

"A gentleman never tells Petey," Remus replied following suit. 'fucking speak then' he shot a look at Sirius who still sat in silence 'tosser' apparently noticing Remus's eyes on him he sat up straighter 

"proud of ya Remus" he chimed in offering a smile, satisfied Remus returned it and lay down

"not saying night to your girlfriend?" James asked with a smirk which was soon hidden by Remus's pillow "oh that's it Lupin you've done it now" James lunged for him and soon the tent had devolved into a mess of gangly boys wrestling one another- well three gangly boys peter was not what you would call tall or slim really.

Remus awoke the next morning to the sound of James "oh you know you love me really" which was replied to by a snort from who Remus could safely assume was Lily. he sat up rubbing his eyes to bring them back into focus before unzipping his bag stretching his stiff body, he turned to his left to see a stirring Sirius who rolled over with a yawn
"morning," Remus mumbled stifling his own, Sirius opened his eyes to look up at Remus, his hair a mess from his sleep and his features soft as if they had yet to wake up.
