Chapter 10

Farha's POV
After I prayed subh prayer i didn't go back to sleep,I recited the Qur'an and my daily "duas",read some books and kept on pressing my phone.I was very anxious,I can't wait for my dad to be back home.The plane will land by 10:00am and Asad will go and pick him up.By 8:00am i had by bath and put on a pink shirt and sweatpants because we are going to cook in the kitchen.I went to the kitchen and saw Maami drinking coffee
"Farha,you are up."She said with a smile.
"Yess Maami,good morning."
"Morning dear,how was your night?"
"Fine Maami,yours?"
"Alhamdulillah."
"I have called Sa'adatu over and she said she will come,she will be here soon."i said
"Okay,Allah ya kawo ta lafiya."
"Ameen."I said.
I made tea and took it with vanilla cake,after i finished taking breakfast i started bringing out the ingredients.We are going to make mandi,chicken kebab and Fruit drink for dad's arrival.I brought out the fruits and started making it to preserve it in the fridge.
I heard voices from the sitting room,I peeped and I saw Sa'adatu greeting Maami.I silently went back to the kitchen.
"Heyyyyy,bestttt!"She said as soon as she entered the kitchen and hugged me.
"Yen yennnnn."I said hugging her back.
"Ya kike?"she asked releasing the hug.
"Fine o."
"So did he call ?"She asked while smirking.
"Yes,he did."I said.
"Oh."She said shaping an o with her mouth.
"Yess,he is nice.So we are going to make the chicken kebab and Maami will make the Mandi,but first of all go and change into something I don't want this your beautiful dress to be ruined."
"Okay."She said and went to my room to change.
Maami and she came into the kitchen and we started working.
Ammar and Asad had already left to pick daddy from the airport.
"Whoa!"I said after I dropped the last flask on the dinning table.
"You two should go and change before they come ."Maami said.
"Okay."We went to my room and I had a quick shower again.When Sa'adatu went into the bathroom i did a little makeup on my face and slipped into my purple blouse and skirt lace.I tied my scarf and looked into the mirror.
"Fine ass."Sa'adatu said.I didn't know she was out of the bathroom because I was busy admiring myself in the mirror.
She put on her gown and did some magic on her face too.
"Let's take pictures."I suggested.
We took a lot of pictures and I posted some on my Snapchat and Instagram story.
We went downstairs and i saw my mum.
"Maami,you look so beautiful."I complimented her.
"Thank you,you two look beautiful too."
I heard the doorbell and I ran to open the door.Outside the door was my hero standing with a smile on his face.
"Daddy."I squealed and hugged him.
"My princess,how are you??"
"I am good,welcome daddy welcome!!!"I said releasing the hug.
"Welcome home daddy."Sa'adatu said.
"Sa'adatu,how are you and how is your business?"he asked.
"Alhamdulillah.We Thank Allah."She said with a smile.
"MashaAllah,and where is my queen?"
"Right here."Maami said.
He came in and hugged her.We had a little family time with Sa'adatu and I was really happy.
I love it when I go to her house or she comes over to my house.She is the only child and being the only one kind of sucks.
"Let's go and eat,I am really starving."Asad said.
"Yess,let's go."I said.
We moved to the dinning area and started digging in,we had a conversation and everybody enjoyed the food.After eating Maami asked us to go and rest and dad needed to rest too.I and Sa'adatu moved to my room and we started watching a something on Netflix,We watched Work it and we talked about many things.Sa'adatu left after praying zuhr because she received a call from her office.After she left I went to the Parlor and sat down pressing my phone.Asad and Ammar joined me and we decided to play with cards.
"Asad you are always cheating wallahi,why do you like hiding cards?"I said.He was adjusting his sitting position when i noticed he was sitting on many cards.
"Cheater!!"I said.
He kept on laughing .
"Let's start this round again."I said and gave Ammar to shuffle the cards.
"Someone is ringing the doorbell."Asad said.
"Let me check."I said and stood up to open the door.
