Cecily Tanya and Streaks took Sonic and friends to the space center they went on a space tour.
Sonic was feeling bored.
"Ugh I'm so bored."
"Sonic we have been here for 10 minutes." said Cecily.
"Sonic if you're bored here play with games on your phone."
"Okay."
They have learned about science and history of space.
And how Neil Armstrong became the first man on the moon as astronaut.
During the tour Sonic and friends unstrapped themselves from the stroller and wander off.
They were glad they didn't get caught.
Outside they saw the space shuttle.
"Look the space shuttle let's go inside it." said Sticks.
"I don't think this is a good idea." said Shadow.
"Oh come on Shadow don't ruin our fun." said Scourge.
"Yeah we'll just look around inside."
"Okay fine."
"That's the spirit."
Everyone got inside of the space shuttle.
"Wow cool."
"This is awesome I always wanted to be a astronaut." said Vengeance.
"Yeah one small step for man one giant leap for mankind."
Sticks saw a red button.
"What this button do?"
"Don't touch it!" Shadow cried.
But it was too late Sticks pressed the red button.
Then suddenly the space shuttle started to launch.
"Quick everyone get in your seats and put on your seatbelts!" said Tails.
Everyone put on their seatbelts.
Everyone started screaming as the space shuttle went higher into the sky.
"Scourge hold my hand this is just like a roller coaster ride." said Dani.
"I hate roller coasters it lulled me to sleep!"
Scourge holds Dani's hand.
The space shuttle went up into the sky and into space.
Everyone stopped screaming and looked at the window.
"Are we really in space." Amy asked.
"Yep." said Steel.
"I hope we don't get lost in space." said Sanctum.
"There's no oxygen in space." said Mana.
Everyone took their seatbelts off and they started floating.
"Whoa we're floating."
"This is just like swimming in the pool."
Everyone was having fun.
Scourge did a back flip.
"Now that's what I call gravity."
Then suddenly voice came on the radio.
"Hello up there."
Tails pressed the button.
"Hello."
"I know you all must be pretty terrified right now, but we're doing everything in our power to get you safely back to earth.
"Is there anything we can do?"
"Well, fortunately the ship runs on autopilot. We just need some time to figure out your coordinates, and calculate the reentry plan. So, just try to stay calm and we'll figure this all out."
Everyone dressed up like astronauts and looked out the window.
"Wow so this is what space looks like." Excal said.
"Yeah these stars are so beautiful." said Amy.
"This is neat." said Knuckles.
As everyone was enjoying looking at the view.
"Team Sonic come in."
Tails went over to the radio and spook to it.
"Yes we're here."
"Well I have some good news the autopilot is capable of taking you home."
Everyone cheered.
"Hey, guys, I think I have an idea that could help us. we learned about countering forward momentum with retro rockets. If we use them now, the ship might slow down enough for gravity to pull us out of orbit."
"Good idea."
The suddenly the space shuttle started spinning.
"I feel we're on Among Us game."
"I'm gonna hurl!" Shadow yelled.
Tails got in the seat made the space shuttle go straight up.
"We're straightening out!" said Zooey
"Ah, look! It says autopilot engaged." said Perci.
"I can't believe I got to go to space before Derek Watson." said Knuckles
"Who's Derek Watson?" Sonic asked.
The space shuttle went down everyone got in their seats.
The space shuttle made it back to earth and landed safety on the platform.
Everyone got out and walked down the ladder.
Cecily Tanya and Streaks came running down and give them a big hug.
"Oh thank goodness you're okay." said Tanya.
"We were so worried." said Streaks.
"Don't scare us like that okay." said Cecily.
"We promise we'll never scare you guys again."
"Yeah next time stop don't press the button."
"I promise."
