"But papa!" Julian cried, his lip quivering, "I don't wanna go! I wanna stay with you!"
"Jules, darling," John, the boy's father, sighed, "It's your first day of kindergarten! And you'll see me right after!!"
The young boy clung to his father's denim clad leg as they walked into the classroom.
"See Jules? Look at all the toys and markers! It's gonna be so fun!" John grinned widely at his son, gesturing to the brightly colored classroom with children's art projects lining the walls.
"Hello!" A cheery voice came.
Holy shit-
John looked up to see the gorgeous specimen that was his son's teacher. Long legs, droopy hazel eyes, arched eyebrows, ebony hair, the beginnings of a beard, the man was beautiful.
"Hey!" John coughed, "I'm John Lennon and this is my son Julian! It's his first day so he's a bit nervous."
The stunning man crouched down to look Julian in the eyes, but Julian simply hid behind his father's leg.
"Hi Julian!" The man spoke softly and sweetly, "I'm Mr. McCartney! Being new is scary, huh?" Julian nodded timidly, fiddling with the hem of his yellow shirt. "Well, I'll have you know that these are really nice kids and you'll fit right in!"
Mr. McCartney pointed at a small boy with dark hair and thick eyebrows, "That's Dhani, he's my nephew and I'm sure he would love to be your friend!"
Julian looked at Dhani then up at John, then back to Dhani then back to John. John grinned, "I'm gonna leave now, okay love? But I love you so much and I'll be back in a few hours!"
Julian pouted and hugged his dad tightly, "Now, go introduce yourself to Dhani just like we practiced."
The small boy raced over to his potential friend, "Hello, my name's Julian Lennon, what's yours?"
The other little boy grinned widely, showing no front teeth, "I'm Dhani Harrison! Do you wanna be my friend?!"
Julian nodded vigorously and sat down next to him.
John chuckled and turned to Mr. Hot teacher, "Those two are gonna be an unstoppable force of energy."
Mr. McCartney giggled, a melodious sound that made John melt a bit. "Don't worry, I'm good at getting them to settle down. And Dhani's a good kid. He's my best mate George's son, so I practically helped raise him." He smiled.
John's stomach clenched, "Bias towards your own family, eh Mr McCartney?"
"You can call me Paul," he said with a crooked smile, "And yeah, sort of I guess."
"Paul..." John echoed.
Paul nodded, "John, was it? I don't mean to pry, but on the topic of families, you seem awfully young to have a son Julian's age."
"We're practically the same age!"
"Yes but I don't have children," Paul pointed out.
"I'm 23! I'm plenty old!" John joked.
"I'm 27," Paul stated.
John rolled his eyes, a small smile tugging at his lips, "I was stupid in high school and knocked up my girlfriend, Cynthia, and then Julian was born," he shrugged, leaving out the part where Cynthia died.
Paul chuckled a bit, "Is Cynthia still in the picture?"
John smirked, "Smooth, McCartney. Do you hit on all the parents? And no, she's not."
"Only the devilishly handsome ones," Paul grinned.
"Not too bad yourself, hot stuff," John flirted back.
"Well Mr. Lennon, I have a class to teach, but I'll see you later!" Paul said with a wink.
John's heart just about exploded, "Cheers-"
He waved at his son and his son's insanely attractive teacher and stepped out of the classroom.
He leaned against the wall, feeling like the protagonist in a stupid high school romance film. He saw Paul's gorgeous hazel eyes every time he closed his, and his stupidly adorable giggle echoed in his brain.
Nononono, this was bad! He can't have a crush on his son's teacher!!
He sped out the door and to his car, hoping his boss would forgive him for being a few minutes late.
John worked as a journalist under a man called Brian Epstein, who seemed to be somewhat infatuated with John, as his coworker/best friend Stuart often stated.
Grabbing his bag, John opened the car door and sprinted to his office.
"I'm sorry I'm late!" He panted to Brian.
"Oh, it's alright John," Brian smiled sweetly, "I know you had to drop off Julian."
John blinked, not wanting to engage in conversation in the slightest, "It won't happen again sir."
Brian winked at John and strutted into his office.
"Man he's weird," John sighed, taking a seat at his desk.
Stuart looked over the tops of his sunglasses from his place in the deck next to John's, "He wants to get in your pants, Lenny boy."
John rolled his eyes, "Speaking of getting into someone's pants, holy shit Julian's teacher is hot. Like smoking hot."
Stu smirked, "What's his name? What does he look like?!"
"Why do you automatically assume they're a guy?!"
"Because apart from Cynthia, you're gay as a daffodil, mate," Stu chuckled.
John sighed, "Yeah, it's a guy... His name's Paul McCartney and- er- I'll just draw him for you."
He cranked out a quick sketch of Paul on a sticky note, knowing he wouldn't be able to capture his beauty. "There. He sorta looks like that."
Stu inspected the sticky note, "How's his ass? Has he got nice legs? Is he muscly? What does he dress like?"
John tapped his chin, "Lovely, yes, sort of, he dresses like an old scottish sheep farmer, but in a hot way."
"Hmm..." Stu hummed in acknowledgment.
"I would ask him out, but he's my son's teacher!" John sighed, "I don't think that's allowed!"
The other man shrugged, "Go for it, lad. Or at least find out more about him."
Ringo, a short man with a big nose who sat at the desk on the other side of John, nodded, "Make sure you're actually into him and don't just think he's attractive."
John buried his face in his arms, "He's fuckin gorgeous and I wanna snog him! Plus he was so good with Jules and spoke all sweet and man I nearly got-"
"John, I don't wanna know about that-" Stu cut him off. "Just remember that he's Julian's teacher first, so you have to respect that."
With a huff, John began typing vigorously on his computer, trying to get his son's insanely hot teacher out of his head.
