"So why do I hurt you so? Is it 'cause you love me the most?" ~ The Most [Miley Cyrus]
"He's safe, Rosie."
"Are you sure?"
"Positive," Jimin nods, waving Taehyung over once he found him in the busy airport. "Now try to have fun, okay? And send me lots of pictures!"
Rosie nods and hugs him tightly, thanking him quietly before latching onto her brother. She could tell he was confused about why she had been crying, but Jimin made up an excuse about her saying she was going to miss Jungkook.
"Here's your luggage, little flower," Taehyung smiles, rolling it towards her. "Don't worry, you'll see Jungkook soon."
Rosie bites back more tears and nods at his words, sending a final goodbye to Jimin before they walk away.
When they had boarded the plane, they were pleasantly surprised to be in first class. The siblings looked at everything in awe and were even more surprised when the flight attendant asked if they would like anything from the menu.
"W-we get to eat?" Taehyung asks in shock.
"Yes, sir," the flight attendant smiles.
She watched as the siblings looked down with furrowed brows at the menu and couldn't help but notice their similar attributes. It was even more noticeable when they both ordered and gave her the same box-like smile, the resemblance extremely obvious between the two.
"This is insane," Taehyung laughs, pulling the blanket up over him as he laid back.
Rosie hums in agreement and looks out her window at the fluffy clouds. She couldn't stop thinking about that one night Jumgkook came over and told her he had something important to say. That's when he told her his plan about Friday.
"I got you tickets to Paris," Jungkook says, smiling sadly when she shook her head. "Jimin will take you to meet Taehyung at the airport."
"I don't want to go," she cries.
"Rosie," Jungkook frowns, swallowing the lump in his throat. "Please. This is the only way."
Later that evening, when Taehyung got home from work, he wasn't expecting Jungkook to be there, nor the present that was given.
"You bought us tickets to Paris?!" he shouts, staring at the ravenette in bewilderment.
"Jungkookie!" Rosie squeals, hugging him tightly.
Of course, she already knew about Paris, but it was all part of the plan. To keep Taehyung in the dark and to get her there safely so no one except the boys would know where she is.
"I don't understand," Taehyung says, staring at the tickets in amazement.
"It's just... you guys have been through a lot," Jungkook murmurs, shrugging his shoulders. "I just thought it would be nice."
"Thank you, Jungkook," he says sincerely, laughing in disbelief. "I don't even know what to say."
"You leave Friday night," the ravenette informs, holding his hand up when Taehyung's mouth opened in protest. "I already talked to my uncle and he understands. The trip is over winter break so it's for a week."
His gaze turns down to Rosie's tear-filled eyes, and a smile tugs at his lips.
"You told me you've always wanted to escape to Paris," he says softly, brushing her tears away with his knuckles.
The flight attendant soon came with their meal and Rosie squeezed her eyes shut to make the new wave of tears go away. She didn't want to spoil this trip for her brother, even if it felt like there was a dull ache in her chest.

"Mr. Jeon has already dealt with the payments," the front desk clerk smiles, handing them their keys. "Enjoy your stay."
Taehyung takes them hesitantly and thanks him, still in shock at the hotel Jungkook had booked for them. It was high-class with its extraordinary architecture and outdoor pool, making the siblings grow even more excited for their trip.
It all felt too good to be true, but as Taehyung face planted onto the comfy bed in their room, it was starting to sink in.
"Your boyfriend must be rich," the elder murmurs, eyes already shutting in exhaustion.
Rosie smiles at her brother before perching herself onto the window seat, her back resting against the pillow as she looked out at the streets of Paris. Pedestrians were strolling by and she couldn't help but let her forehead fall forward onto the window, watching them with a pout.
"I miss you," she whispers, a silly wish for him to hear her words. Hearing that he was safe wasn't enough. She needed to see him, more than ever. "Please, come back."
