"Faces from my past return, another lesson yet to learn." ~ No Time to Die [Billie Eilish]

Rosie sobbed as she was taken downstairs by the guards. Everything was too overwhelming and she couldn't believe she was even here in this horrid place.

"My time?" she whimpers quietly, her lips trembling.

"Ego," one of the guards whispered, his smile heard in his voice.

"Serendipity," the other guard whispers.

Rosie cries at the code words and hugs Jimin tightly as they enter the privacy of the basement. The honey-haired boy pulled down his mask, offering her a small smile and placing his fingers to his lips before pulling the cloth back up.

"We have two minutes," Hobi whispers, and Jimin gave him a curt nod.

They headed towards the door in the basement and yanked it open, meeting Yoongi on the other side. He passed them the passed out girl and Hobi and Jimin got to work strapping her to the seat as Rosie hugged herself. They placed the bag on top of her head and Jimin ushered Rosie over with a wave of his fingers, leaving the warehouse as Hobi shook the girl awake and rose his gun. The camcorder in front of him beeped red, indicating that it was recording, and he smirked.

"You did amazing, Rosie," Jimin reassured her as they climbed into the van, peeling his mask off.

Rosie couldn't even form a coherent sentence as she was crying too much, and the honey-haired boy squeezed her hand as he sped off from the site.

Meanwhile, Kwang had just ordered the shot, and Hobi pulled the trigger with a smile, watching the girl fall forward in her seat.

He ripped the bag off of her head to reveal her true identity before grabbing the camera and smashing it against the wall, and the screen went black.

"Skyler?!" Kwang shouts in confusion, and Jungkook smirked.

Just then, Yoongi bursted through the door with an army of people behind him. It happened so fast, like everything was a blur. Shots were being fired everywhere and Jungkook could feel his ears ringing, thrashing around in his seat to try and get out.

"Hello, sir," one of the new recruits greets, the black mask securing her identity.

She worked fast to break the chains before handing him an extra gun, and Jungkook snapped into action. His arms flew upward and he held the pistol in-between his hands, firing away at all of Kwang's guards.

He saw Kwang try to sneak out in the corner of his eyes and sprinted his way, ducking down as bullets flew over his head. He tackled Kwang to the floor before he could get much further and the two rolled around on the floor, Kwang getting the upper hand as he wrapped his hands around Jungkook's throat.

"Your lousy father really was stupid," Kwang spits, tightening his hold. "How could you ever be the gang leader?"

Jungkook's face was red and his eyes were struggling not to roll to the back of his head, his mouth parted to try and grasp any air he could. When he started seeing dark spots, he kicked his foot up, landing a harsh kick right against Kwang's privates.

Jungkook gasped for air and rolled onto his knees once Kwang released his hands, choking as air filled his lungs again. He reached for his gun that had been kicked away and quickly turned around, shooting Kwang in his heart before he could even blink.

"Jungkook," Yoongi shouts, grabbing his arm. "Jungkook, we have to go."

Jungkook could barely hear him over the ringing in his ears, and he knew he was close to unconsciousness. He felt Yoongi wrap his arm around his shoulders and he stumbled with the pale boy out to one of the vans, collapsing back against the seat when Yoongi helped him in.

And as his eyes shut, and the last bit of consciousness left, he had only one hope.

That Rosie was safe.
