Chapter 5

"So who was he?" Lev's mother asked him with a serious face. "He's my boyfriend" Lev said without hesitation. His mom, dad, and sister all raise an eyebrow at how quickly he responded. "Is this the boy that we were talking about last night?" My sister asked eagerly. "Yes it is, what are you going to do about it?" Lev asked a little concerned by the tone that she was using. "EEEEEEEE" she squealed at the top of her lungs. "That boy is the one I was telling you guys about!" she shouted to her parents. "Wait that's the boy?" Her mom asked in confused tone. "Yass!" She looks over at Lev. "I approve" She says with a radiant look in her eye. Lev's mother looks at him with a surprised look on her face. "So he is the one that you've had you eye on" She gives him a mysterious grin. "Your not mad?" Lev asks a little concerned. "Why would I be mad about that? It about time you got a boyfriend" She said. Lev just looks at his dad. "I really don't care, I just want you to be happy" His dad said tiredly. "So what has happened between you guys so far I need to be updated" His mother and sister said at the same time. This is the first time I've had a boyfriend so they are very excited for me. "Well.... we have already done it..." I say a little nervous. "Did you use protection?" Lev's father asked. Lev started sweating a little. "N-no we did it in the storage closet in the gym at school after practice" Lev looks down. His father sighs. "Was he in heat?" Lev's father asked sitting up a little more with his arms that were once folded by his chest now on the table. Lev sinks even lower into his chair. "Yes... but I made sure to pull out before we finished" Lev says in a determined voice. His fathers face relaxes a little. "That's good. We don't want you guys getting pregnant any time soon. Especially since its your first year in highschool." Lev realized that he was right and that he needed to be careful from now on. "Okay, we'll be careful." Lev adds a reassuring smile at the end. "Okay that's enough talk for tonight, lets all head off to bed, you have school in the morning." Lev's mother said getting up from her seat. Suddenly a thought crosses Lev's mind. "Wait there is one more thing..." He says waiting for his parents to turn his attention to him. "I marked him" was all he said before going up to his room and closing the door. 

Once Lev was in his room he let out a big sigh, plugged his phone in on his nightstand since it was dead, and went into his bathroom and started the shower. When he finished he got ready for bed. As he gets in bed he picks his phone up from the charger. He turns it on and sees that he got a text from Yaku 30 minutes ago. 

Text between Lev and Yaku from Lev's phone:

Baby🥰: Hey Lev, just wanted to tell you that I got home safe and that I'm going to bed now. Goodnight😘

Me: Sorry babe that I didn't answer I was talking with my family. I'll tell you about it tomorrow. I hope you sleep good tonight and I was also wondering if you wanted to walk to school together tomorrow? Just let me know when you get up. Goodnight Love😘

Lev sets his phone down and looks up to his ceiling. He starts to recall what he talked about with his parents. He can't believe that his parents weren't mad at him and he would have to talk to his sister tomorrow about how to keep a secret and not go tell their mother whenever he gets a crush. He doesn't think he has to worry tho because he really likes Yaku and wants things to work out.

~the next morning at Yaku's apartment~

Yaku wakes up with Pebbles sleeping on his chest. Pebbles and him both start to stretch at the same time. Pebbles gets off of his chest and goes to her litter box to use the bathroom. Yaku watches her leave the room and then turns to grab his phone. He opens it to find that he got a new message from Lev.

Text between Lev and Yaku from Yaku's phone:

Me: Hey Lev, just wanted to tell you that I got home safe and that I'm going to bed now. Goodnight😘

Mine🖤: Sorry babe that I didn't answer I was talking with my family. I'll tell you about it tomorrow. I hope you sleep good tonight and I was also wondering if you wanted to walk to school together tomorrow? Just let me know when you get up. Goodnight Love😘

Me: It's okay and I would love to walk to school with you. Let me just get ready and then I will start to head over there.

Mine🖤: Okay I will get ready to then! See you soon!

Me: Okay

Yaku shut his phone off and put it on his nightstand and went to get ready. He brushed his teeth, showered, fed Pebbles, and took his suppressants. After 15 minutes he was out the door and on his way to Lev's house. He texted Lev and told him that he was on his way. When he walked past the cafe that Akaashi works at he thought that he would stop by real quick. When he gets in there he decides to order 2 muffins, one for him and one for Lev. When he gets up to the counter he decides to tell Akaashi that he got a boyfriend. When Akaashi found out he was really happy for Yaku that he finally got out there. Akaashi wanted to meet him so that he can approve and Yaku ended up getting talked into visiting the cafe after school with Lev so he could meet him. Honestly he was a little nervous about what Akaashi would think of him but was pretty confident that he would approve. 'It's not like he really has a choice since he marked me' Yaku thought while walking out of the cafe. 

As Yaku was walking up Lev's driveway he went up to the door and knocked three times. Before he could pull his hand away a tall woman with long grey hair and green eyes swings open the door. "Hello you must be Yaku! I'm Alisa, Lev's sister. I've heard so much about you!" Before Yaku could say anything she was pulling on his arm. "Come in come in" She said enthusiastically. Yaku decides to leave his shoes on and just wait in the entry way since him and Lev are going to be leaving right away. 

Lev hears his sister greeting someone at the door. 'Yaku must be here' He thought to himself. He grabs his bag and heads down the stairs. When he reaches the bottom he runs into the kitchen, grabs his lunch then he's at the door with Yaku walking out. When they get outside Lev and Yaku reach out to hold each others hands. As they are walking down the sidewalk Yaku breaks the silence.  

"So what did you want to tell me? Oh and here you go I got it on the way over" Yaku asked curiously while giving Lev his muffin

"Thank you and about what?" Lev asks a little confused

"Well last night you said you had a talk with your parents and that you were going to tell me about it, did something bad happen?" Yaku asked. Lev looks at Yaku who had a worried look in his eyes.

"NO- no it wasn't anything bad, I guess what they said was just a little reassuring. At first I thought they were going to be mad, but in the end everything worked out." Lev said trying to reassure Yaku that it was nothing bad.

"Well? What was it?" Yaku asked getting a little impatient

"Oh well they came home last night while me and you were taking a nap, and they came in my room to check if I was home and they saw us. When you left I realized that they were home and by the time I got back into the house they were waiting for me. We had a long talk about our relationship and some safety precautions that we should think about. Anyways they support us and said that if we ever need help than they will be here for us." Lev said all at once as he rambled on.

"Oh you had me thinking it was something bad. Well hey look on the bright side at least we don't have to hide our relationship and we can be open about it." Yaku said

"Yeah your right. Wait- does that mean we are telling the team?" Lev asked a little confused

"If your comfortable with it then we can" Yaku said while looking ahead at the road. "They will find out eventually"

"Yeah your right" Lev said while looking down at his feet

As the two finished their muffins they were just getting to the gate of Nekoma. They walked together all the way until they had to go to their separate classes. The two of them don't have any of the same classes so the only times they see each other is during lunch and at practice.
