Chapter 2

Lev's POV:

I was suddenly awoken from my deep sleep from my mother yelling at me that I have company. As I quickly stumble down the stairs in my red fruit of the loom boxers I reach the bottom step and see 3 of my upperclassman (also known as the third years from the volleyball team) standing in the middle of my living room. As I make my way next to my mom I spot Yaku and realize that I wasn't wearing a shirt... OR PANTS!!!!!

Yaku's POV:

As I'm sitting on the couch at Lev's house with Kuroo and Kai, Lev comes around the corner still half asleep and- in his boxers!? *major blushing moment for Yaku* As soon as we made eye contact his whole face turned as red as the satonishiki cherries that I seen at a market on my way here.

Third Person POV: 

Lev ran back up the stairs and put on some grey sweatpants and a white tank top. As he was coming back down he was wondering what the third years were doing in his house so early in the morning and also why they were here. 

As Lev made his way into the living room he passed the kitchen which is where his mom was. She called for him to bring them their drinks. 

"Mom, what are the third years doing here?" said lev.

"They said that it was a tradition"

"What kind of tradition involves coming over to peoples houses?" lev asked out of curiosity.

"Well they said that every year the third years go over to the first years house, talk with the parents and make a pledge to them." "They already made the pledge to me to keep you safe but I asked them to stay longer so then they can walk you to school." said lev's mom.

Lev's POV:

"This is just great." thought lev.

As I walk back out into the living room to give the third years their drinks I decided to ask them a question.

"So who's houses have you all been to?" I asked.

"Yours was the last one" said Yaku.

"Oh! Then let me go get dressed so you guys can get to school early" I said nervously.

"Don't worry about it, we'll get there when we get there" said Kuroo.

I smiled and nodded. I decided to wait to get ready and went to sit on the couch so we could have a conversation.

"So how are you liking Nekoma?" said Yaku.

"It's not bad, I still have a little trouble finding my way around but I will get the hang of it. I guess it's a good thing that me and the other first years are in the same classroom this year cause then there is at least someone that I know!" Lev said honestly.

"Well if you every feel like you need help or have any concerns don't be afraid to ask us... right guys?" said Kuroo.

"Totally" said Yaku.

"Yeah, for sure!" said Kai.

After bout 20 minutes of talking we decided that we would get going so I went to go get changed. When I came back down the third years were having a conversation of their own. I walk up to them and we head out. I only live about 10 minutes away from school so that must have been why my house was last. Kai and Kuroo were walking beside each other talking about practice today while I was walking next to Yaku. It was kinda quiet so I decided to say something to him.

"Yaku-san-" "Lev-" We both said at the same time

....

There was a little bit of awkward silence but then Yaku broke it by saying....

"You can go first" 

"Ok" I said. "Just wondering, are you an alpha, omega, or a beta?"

"I'm an omega, you?" Yaku said.

"I'm an alpha"

"That doesn't surprise me. look at you" said Yaku

"T-thanks I guess. So what is everyone else?"

"Kuroo is an alpha, Kai is a beta, Kenma is an omega, Yamamoto is a beta also" Yaku said

"Oh, so who all has a mate?" I asked curiously

"Kenma and Kuroo are mated to each other and Kai and Yamamoto are both single."

"What about you?" I blurted out

"Oh... I don't have a mate or anything" Yaku said shyly.

I slightly was excited for some reason. I think I'm excited because maybe I liked Yaku and am excited that he didn't have a mate.

"ev- LEV!" I was pulled out of my thought from Yaku yelling at me. 

"Y-yes?" I asked kinda scared.

"Were you listening?" "I asked if you have anyone"

"OH, NO I-i don't have anyone" I said reassuringly

"Ok" Yaku said while looking forward again.

No ones POV:

As they finished their conversation they realized that they had arrived at the school. They made their way to the gym for morning practice and they set up the net and took out the balls. As everyone else started showing up Yaku was starting to show more signs of being worried. As Kenma showed up Yaku ran over to him and asked him if he was okay. Kenma looked at him worried and asked... "Where's Kuroo at?" Yaku nodded his head and ran to the storage closet and ran to get Kuroo. After a few minutes the gym started to have a different smell in the air. Lev looks around and sees Kenma breathing heavily and realized he was going into heat. 

Lev's POV:

As I look over trying to find where that smell is coming from I spot Kenma sitting on the bench breathing heavily. I realized that Kenma was going into heat and decided to go ask if he was okay. As I walk over to Kenma I here him mumble something but I couldn't quite understand him so I got a little closer.

"G-get away" Kenma mumbled.

"Why? Are you okay? Do you need me to get someone?" I ask curiously 

"I-if Kuroo sees y-you h-he will be m-mad" Kenma warned

"What?"

After I asked I heard Kuroo yell for Kenma's name. As I turn around to look at him he is glaring at me with the meanest look.

"GET AWAY FROM HIM!" Kuroo yelled.

"I wasn't doing anything I was just asking if he was okay." I said frantically

"HE IS MY OMEGA SO LET ME TAKE CARE OF HIM" Kuroo said

"Okay you can have him"

Kuroo went over to Kenma and picked him up. He looked at Yaku and nodded.

"What did I do?" I asked Yaku in a concerned tone

"Nothing, just Kuroo gets very defensive when Kenma goes into heat that's all."

"Oh okay I was just trying to see if he needed me to get anyone for him."

"I know you meant no harm." Yaku said

"Alright everyone get back to practice!"

 Author's Note: 

Hey guys sorry if I am not updating as consistently. I have just had a lot going on with school and sports, but do not fear my volleyball season is almost done and I will be going distance learning/online schooling on Tuesday next week so I will have a lot more time to  update and right more chapters. 

Also if you guys have any ideas that I could use please comment them for me because I have a lot of procrastination and a lot of writers block so really anything can help me out.
