"Poetry is the journal of the sea animal living on land, wanting to fly in the air. Poetry is a search for syllables to shoot at the barriers of the unknown and the unknowable. Poetry is a phantom script telling how rainbows are made and why they go...
They hear nothing, they see nothing; not a single snivel, not the muffled whispers, not those tears, neither those heart wrenching episodes, nor the tired heart. They see nothing, they hear nothing.
But they don't stand impugned. How can they? They can't. My blinding smile, that doesn't reach my eyes, is all I display; My hearty chortle, that isn't lively, is all I laugh; My utopian existance, that's falling apart, is all I live. That's all they see, that's all I show.
So here I am, dealing with my self, dealing with my horrors. Feeling my fears, facing my fears. Putting up an act better than most thespians, and going on.
When my only companions are my audacious mind and those salty tears, those nights, I wonder, Will amity ever find me? Will glee ever cross my path? And the thoughts keep me up, make me insomniac.
Untill, a surmise finds me. My abstractions, have often, enshrouded me. My ventures, at times, have rendered me kaput. My mind, ordinarily, has left me flummoxed. My soul, has always, trounced me. But survival, in perpetuity, has embraced me.
These wounds, might stay, Heal and become my constant companions. Like cashmere, will my anatomy adorn those marks, for those, are my battle scars, battles, that I bravely fought, and emerged victorious.
So here I plinth, fervid, triumphant, puissant. Steering myself, to keep fighting, for all will be worth at the end, When I'll stand RESURRECTED.
