————————————————It was a nice Friday morning for Dream, despite the night with George at the ball. He couldn't get George's cute little face out of his mind—It was trapped in his mind.
George, on the other hand, Was dealing with something.
That smile he would put on when next to his father, was fake.
I can't explain why, I can just give you and example. It's like a game with George's father. No one knows how he really treats his family. Except the fellow guards, assistants, cooks, etc.
The pain he puts them through is sickening. It's weird how people have no clue about his evil little deeds behind closed doors. The screams from the people inside, are blocked. It's almost like they live in solitary. Kept away from the "dangers" of the outside world.
George is the most affected. His father, King Sam, treats him differently then others. He tries to get George to be like him, but that's all manipulation.
George is hard to past. It's like he has this wall inside of him, blocking the bad things.
Now, what happened at the ball was something different. He knew the king was trying to bring him down, but he failed. Miserably.
Now, Dream. He has very high suspicions on King Sam. No one else does, though. The king looked to him as, something other than a "bundle of joy", And he knew why.
That very morning in The Kingdom of Quentin, Dream keep his mind on his suspicions. Scanning every possible way to get more knowledge about King Sam.
"Clay?" King Liam, said concerned. Dream snapped out of his thoughts, "Yes, father?" Dream asked confused. "are you ok? You look a little out of it." King Liam said, frowning a bit.
"Y-yeah, I'm fine. I just have a headache, that's all.." Dream said with a awkward laugh. "Well maybe you should go rest. For all, we have a party we are going to host." King Liam spoke, "I want you to be recovered by then. But if not, that's ok. Just inform us." King Liam finished.
Dream nodded, confused. "A-A party? We're hosting a party?" Dream said, enlightened. The king smiled, "yes," king Liam smiled, "we are planning to invite, Prince George. If that's alright--I mean, you looked to get along at the ball, right?"
Dreams eyes grew wide with happiness. Prince George. He couldn't be more happy.
"Yes, I would love to invite Prince George!"
The king was happily pleased by Dreams excitement, he's always loved his sons smile. Even if he knows what he's happy about. He's just glad he was able to see it again. He hadn't seen that same smile in a long time.
"Splendid! I love your excitement, I'm glad you share it with a local prince." King Liam said, happily. He thought for a moment, then smiled at his thought.
"Clay, when you find The right prince for you, I'll be more than happy to meet him." King Liam said with a bright smile.
Dreams eyes widened, "Y-you accept m-me?" he said with his tears stinging his eyes.
"Of course, I would love you to find whatever makes you smile."
The room went silent before Dream collapsed into Liam's arms, crying tears off joy. Liam smiled and held his son tight, he wanted to keep this a as happy memory.
The hug lasted a moment before they drew back, dream wiping his nose, "I'm going to rest, t-thank you, dad." he smiled weakly before running off, up the stairs.
