I hate you part 2

It has been twenty four hours since their kiss in the forbidden Forrest and things have not been going how either of they hoped. After their kiss they walked each other back to their dorms and went to sleep, when they woke up things were... awkward. They have been avoiding each other and not saying a word about the night.

So Y/N went back to their place, the place where they had their kiss, The Forrest.

How ironic was it, the Forrest.
A mysterious place, dark and cold.
But it can be lit up and brightened.
Oh how much it reminded her of Draco.

It was dark and the wind was strong on this very night. She came out to clear her mind but it wasn't working. Her mind kept wandering to that bloody kiss. She had no idea why things got so awkward but it did.
She thought they would figure things out and maybe be something, an item if you would. She breathed out and wondered what Draco was thinking.

He was frantic. He hated how he couldn't navigate through it, he hated how he couldn't go talk to her, he hated how he had no idea how to cope with the smallest fragment of, what could be love.
And yet, there she was, the biggest part of it, the finishing piece of the puzzle.

He wasn't himself. His usually perfect hair was not so perfect. His thoughts were clouded and he couldn't think straight. He had to go see her and make things right.
So headed for the Forrest, where he hoped she would be, and for his luck, she was.

Hearing noises that sounded like crushed leaves, she turned around quickly and saw him. There he was standing in disarray, wind blowing through his soft hair.
They weren't far apart but enough distance to hear each other loud and clear.

"Hi" They said in unison. Both eyes widened but still managing to main contact. He was about to say something but she stopped him.

"I'm sorry, sorry about everything."
She blurted out, then he quickened his paste.

"This really isn't how I imagined our thing would be and I'm sorry. I just-" He reached for her face. Pushing his lips onto hers, making them meet once more. It was a quick and soft kiss but it felt more than that, much more.

She opened her eyes and looked at him.
"You really need to stop interrupting people while they're apologizing." He gave a genuine smile and it melted her, not that his touch wasn't enough.
"Well I had to shut you up some how from that apology since we're both in the wrong." He said playfully, tilting his head while doing so.

It was quiet for a moment both not knowing what to say, but it was a comforting silence.

He looked into her eyes adoringly. "Go to hogsmeade with me on Saturday."
Her head snapped up, the corner of her lips tugging up. Then he was engulfed by her whole body as she hugged him with all her strength. "About time you asked!" She laughed.

Still closely connected, he studied her. She noticed this and giggled.

"What?" She said making him smile.

"Nothing it's just, I think I'm falling for you Y/N."

"I think I'm falling for you too Draco."
