Draco Malfoy one shots

Draco Malfoy was sitting on the edge of one of the archways. He was crying, even though he didn't want to admit it.
His task was consuming him whole, he didn't want to do it. He took the night off of fixing the vanishing cabinet and decided to clear his head. He cried for a long time before hearing footsteps of someone coming around the corridor. He wiped his tears and looked out to the Hogwarts courtyard, not wanting to be bothered.
When he looked back he saw her, he saw Y/N. He had taken an interest in her for quite some time now, but never had the courage to do anything. So he just looks from afar, she was dating Thomas-Wellington anyways.

She slowly walked down the corridor. Draco heard small sniffles.
Then she faced up- she had been crying.
"oh-hi Draco." Y/N said, carefully walking to him. She sat opposite of him and also looked out to the courtyard.
"hi" he didn't know what to say, but she did.
"What are you doing out this late?" She asked wiping her nose a little.
Draco looked at her and sighed.
"Just...just thinking."
"Me too."
They sat in comfortable silence and he ask what happened.
"We broke up a couple days ago but I saw him with another girl just now. I just didn't expect him to move on so quickly." She admitted.
Tears forming in her eyes, she quickly asked. "What are you thinking about?"
"Family stuff." He replied.
"oh." She stayed silent, not wanting to pry.
Draco sighed and got up then held out his hand, which she reluctantly excepted.
"Where are we going?" She walked beside him.
"The astronomy tower- It has a great view. Better than down here." He held her hand softly.
When they arrived her breathe was taken away. The stars were scattered across the dark blue sky and there was a beautiful crescent moon.
"wow" she breathe out. Chuckling he pointed to a star, or rather a constellation.
"That right there, that's the-"
"Scorpius" she finished.
Turning to him, her cheeks glowed a bright pink.
"I have a rather weird obsession with constellations." She laughed lightly.
"Well, did you know that my name is also from a constellation." He stated proudly with a smirk.
"Yes actually, I do know." She eyed him playfully.
"It's the one in the far northern sky and it means 'dragon' in Latin." She giggled.
He stared at her perfection.
She caught his eye and cleared her throat, making him look away.
"Thank you Draco." she raised her head.
"Thanks for cheering me up." She gave a small smile.
And to that he felt better too.
"Well, I'll see you here tomorrow Draco Malfoy." Then she left.
Leaving him to his thoughts and just for a moment he felt happy.
Happier than he had felt in a long time.
