No one's POV
(I think, I don't really know)
(I guess it's possibly Sam's?)Sam took Castiel back to a spare room of the bunker, making sure that there was a bed in there.
"I know Dean probably doesn't want you here right now, but he will later, trust me." The younger Winchester tried to reassure Cas, before heading back to Dean's room to talk to him, and try to convince him to let the Novak boy stay.
"Dean?" He knocked on the door, waiting for a reply. Hearing Dean cough, and mutter 'is he gone?', Sam opened the door and went in slowly.
"Not exactly. I don't think we can just.. Abandon him, Dean.. The guy is ill. He needs help." Sam explained, sitting on the bed beside Dean. The older Winchester looked up at his brother, eyes wide.
"He's ill?" He asked, parting his lips. Sam nodded slightly.
"You couldn't tell? Did you see how thin he was? And his collarbone, from what I could see, it's covered in scratches and bruises, Dean. Can't he just stay here until he's a little better..?" Sam added puppy eyes at the end for a persuasive aspect. Dean sighed, running a hand through his hair.
"Fine, yeah, okay."
Sam smiled.
"Oh, and, Dean? He thinks you hate him. Talk to him." The younger Winchester added, standing up off the bed. Dean scoffed, rolling his eyes slightly.
"Maybe he thinks correctly."
Sighing, Sam turned around to face his brother, towering over him.
"You don't mean that."
"Why're you so sure?"
Sam stared at Dean in disbelief. He couldn't believe that his brother, who had been so close to Castiel, would be acting like this. Cas hadn't done anything wrong. Not one thing.---------------------------------------------
~Flashback~
"Come on, boys," John muttered as he walked into the room that Dean and Sam had been in for the past hour or so, "it's time we got going."
"I'm not leaving." Dean persisted. He had been refusing to leave since John had proposed the idea, and it was starting to tick the guy's dad off.
"Dean, I'm not arguing. It's not like I can leave you here on your own, and we're needed elsewhere." Sam and Dean's dad replied, sighing.
"I have friends."
"People will die, Dean!"
The older Winchester could feel himself tearing up, yet he wouldn't allow himself to cry in front of his dad. That would make him look weak. Pathetic.
"Do you understand why we have to go?" John asked, continuing to stare at Dean, even when the boy turned his head. He didn't reply; Dean was too busy biting his lip to try and hold back the tears.
"Dean?!"
"Yes sir." He managed to mumble, John nodding and leaving the room. Sam wrapped his arms around his older brother, even though he didn't fully understand his pain. Sam had made friends in the school they had been attending, and the boys had been there longer than they usually stayed in schools, but no one was as close to Sam as Castiel was to Dean. After shooing Sammy out of his room, Dean packed up his clothes, weapons, and school stuff, before leaving the motel and throwing his bag into the trunk of the Impala. John and Sam were already in the car; John in the driver's seat and Sam in the back. They obviously expected Dean to ride shotgun, but that wasn't going to happen. He stood, leaning against the back of the car, looking up at the sky. He was blinking back tears, and his breathing was shaky.
"Goodbye, Castiel.." He muttered, getting into the car, drumming on the seat with his fingers as John drove them out of town.---------------------------------------------
Castiel's POV
Cas had been sat in the room Sam had taken him to for a while. He was too nervous to leave the room, so he sat, occasionally fiddling with his clothing or the bedsheets.
Bored, tired, and scared, Castiel laid down on the bed, pulling the duvet up to his chin. He didn't sleep, because he knew that he wouldn't be able to; he just stayed there, silently, pretending that he didn't exist.
Sam and Dean would've been so much happier if he had never showed up. Cas always seemed to ruin everything. Problems, no matter how large or small, always ended up being his fault.
He didn't understand why Dean had left him. He didn't know what he had done wrong, but one thing was certain;
He was going to find out.[[ i'm so sorry for how slow these updates are please bare with me ]]
