Renjun walked to Donghyuck's room to inform him that the food was ready.

"Donghyuck, food's ready my dear friend."
"Why are you calling me Donghyuck. It feels weird."
"I don't know, it happens sometimes. Come quickly."
"I don't want to eat. I'm not hungry."
"That isn't an option, Doyoung hyung is gonna kill you if you skip meals."
"Nope."
"Yah Lee Haechan, you should eat something, you've been skipping meals a lot lately!" Renjun realized what he had just said.

"Now I really lost my appetite to eat." Donghyuck said, acting unfazed.
"I'm sorry Hyuck." Renjun said and left the room hurriedly.

"Where is he?" Renjun looked at Doyoung with a guilty expression.
"I-I called him Haechan..." Doyoung threw his head back in annoyance and sighed at the younger's words.
"He isn''t gonna eat for the whole day now."

"Mom where are you going?" Little Donghyuck asked as his mother was getting ready to go out.

"I'm going for work Haechan, I'll be back tomorrow morning. Mom has to work at night so be a good kid and don't trouble your sister okay?" She said as she smiled angelically at her 7 year old son. The kid smiled back at her and nodded. She looked at her 13 year old daughter and turned away, walking out of the house.

Donghyuck opened his eyes quickly and sat up on his bed, feeling enraged and empty. The room suddenly felt suffocating and there was an uneasy feeling in his chest. He felt extremely helpless with all the flashbacks playing in his head and his heart thumping against his ribs harshly. His breaths were increasing in pace and becoming shallower as time passed.

He felt as if he was being dragged into his past, sucked into it like a black hole, the time which he didn't want to look back at. He hated it. He hated that he couldn't get over it nor forget it. It bruised his life in a way it couldn't be healed.

His head felt heavier and he couldn't hold it in any longer. He let out a blood-curdling scream, and his vision blurred as tears escaped his eyes.

He cried. He cried to his heart's content every single time he thought of her. Her bright smile never left his eyes and he hoped to see that again. At least once before he would die.

"Don't." Jia interjected as Renjun was about to knock on his best friends door. He wanted to apologize and give him some food as he hadn't eaten for the whole day.

"Don't. Leave him alone. I don't know what exactly happened in his past but I think he should be left alone. It was just a name for us but it must mean a lot and there must me be so much connected to it."

"There is." The boy sighed.

"We can talk to him tomorrow, now let's just go and watch some moomin." Renjun chuckled slightly at the mention of his childhood bestie and followed her to the living room.
