Chapter Twenty Four ♡

3ʀᴅ ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴ's ᴘᴏᴠ:
The next morning, Wang Ce and his wife, Chen Shu rushed to Yan Cheng Xu's mansion after Wang Yibo mentioned that Yan Cheng Xu and his wife wanted to talk to their sons.
"Mom, dad, come in," Xiao Zhan said politely, stepping aside to let Wang Ce and Chen Shu came inside the house. He closed the door after they did.
The couple sat on the couch with Xiao Zhan sitting on the opposite direction of them, facing them. Wang Yibo came out of the kitchen, bringing tray of juices in his hands and he put the tray on the coffee table, smiling to his parents.
"Where's Xiao Di and Kuan?" Wang Ce asked worried as he didn't see his eldest son and Dilireba, whom he wish to be his daughter-in-law.
"Ah, DD's in her room, she gotten a flu and uh, Kuan-ge went to the airport to pick up my parents," Xiao Zhan replied politely.
"Really? Oh my daughter, poor Xiao Di!" Chen Shu said as she stood up and rushed upstairs to Dilireba's room. She's worried of the girl whom she thought as her own daughter, since she only had two sons.
"Sweetheart, are you okay? Oh my baby..." Chen Shu said softly, gently stroking Dilireba's hair that covered most of her hair. The girl opened her eyes, forcing a smile on her face as she tried to sit up but stopped by Chen Shu.
"Aunt Chen, you're here? Did something happened?" Dilireba asked worriedly, even more worried as the elder took her hand and tightened her grip on hers (Dilireba).
"Nothing, we're here to talk about Zhan and Yibo's upcoming wedding. But I heard that you're ill, so I came to see you."
"Oh," Dilireba nodded weakly and turned around to face Chen Shu. "Is my parents here yet, aunt?"
"They're on their way here, Kuan went out and pick them up."
Dilireba felt bad for letting Wang Haikuan pick up her parents, when she's the one who's in charge of doing that.
"I'm sorry for troubling Kuan-ge, aunt."
Chen Shu chuckled as she caressed the pale of Dilireba, wiping the sweat forming on her (Dilireba's) face.
"It's okay, Xiao Di. Kuan don't mind doing so, why should I get mad about that?"
Dilireba nodded, flashing a weak smile.
"Have you taken your medicine, dear?" Chen Shu asked worriedly, getting a no from Dilireba. "Why so?"
"Uh, I've been sleeping from the morning, aunt. I forgot to take my medicine, I'll take it now," Dilireba grinned apologetically as she struggled to sit up on her bed with the help of Chen Shu.
