"KUAN-GE!!! NO!!!" Reba ran to Haikuan who was now covered with blood. His body was shaking but a gentle smile was plastered on his face as Reba put his head on her lap.
"Oops!" Xiao Liang laughed, shrugging when Reba shot a glare at him. He shot Haikuan when Haikuan was about to walk out of the door. He never had the intention to let Haikuan live in the first place.
"Ge..." Reba whispered, sobbing hard.
"I'm sorry that I'll be leaving you" he whispered, his voice was weak. "I wish I can be with you so much longer but I'm glad that I got to be with you even though it's not for long"
"Ge, no..." she repeatedly shook her head. "Don't talk too much. Please, hold on. For the sake of our baby. Please..."
Haikuan coughed and vomitted blood. He smiled, trying his hardest to touch her still flat tummy. She guide his hand and place it on her tummy.
"You're pregnant?" He asked.
Reba nodded, closing her eyes, letting tears streamed down her face.
"Please hold on, ge. We still need you" she pleaded.
He shook his head.
"I can't hold much longer, sweetheart. I'm sorry. Tell everyone that I love them and I'm sorry for leaving. Take care of our baby and love him like how you love me. I love you, Reba. I'll be leaving now" he smiled one last time before heaving his one last breath. His hand that was on her tummy dropped to the floor.
"Ge!!! No!!! Please!!! Don't leave me like this!!!" She cried her heart out, don't give a care about Xiao Liang who was laughing at the heartbreaking scene in front of him.
"Xiao Liang!" Guan Hong called. His heart sunk when he saw Reba was in her weakest state.
Reba hugged Haikuan's lifeless body and continued to cry.
"Fuck you!" Guan Hong spit on the floor. "What had you done? Haikuan did nothing to you!"
"Nothing?" Xiao Liang laughed. "If it wasn't for him to put my father in prison, my mother won't commit suicide! It's all because of him that I lost my fucking parents!"
"Your father was corrupt and he poisoned Mr. Wang Ce! You think thay was forgiveable?"
Xiao Liang scoffed.
"His father was still alive and breathing fine but mine was dead in prison!" Xiao Liang started to cry. "I lost my fucking parents at a young age! It ain't my fault that he died in my hand!"
"You're sick!" Guan Hong shook his head in disbelief.
Xiao Liang chuckled.
"Say what you wanna say. I'll devour that girl and kill both of you, then" he pointed his gun at Reba who was still crying over Haikuan's death, hugging his lifeless body so tight, afraid of letting go.
