The next day, oikawa decided to join iwaizumi to walk his dog, ember, together since he had nothing to do at home.

"Iwa-chan? Are you gonna bring ember back to your grandparents house again one day?" Iwaizumi shrugged,

"Maybe, depends if I had a really busy schedule that I had no time giving her attention or food…"

"Oh? Why won't you let your parents take care of her?" Iwaizumi suddenly stop walking and looked at oikawa.

"I don't want to see him" he said that and carry on walking. Oikawa looked at him confused,

"Do you mean your fath-" his question was cut off by his phone ringing. He looked at the person who called him and answered,

"Yes m-mom…? *sigh* why do you call me?" Oikawa asked, uncomfortable to call the women his mother. Iwaizumi watched his facial expression change and end the call.

"What's wrong?"

"I-iwa-chan… I… I'm gonna head to the hospital ok? " oikawa was about to leave but iwaizumi stopped him,

"Wait, lemme go with you. I'll let mei handle ember" oikawa gulp and nod,

Iwaizumi sit outside, leaving oikawa in the room with his dad. From what he had heard, oikawa's dad suddenly fainted during work hours due to overwork and lack of food. He let oikawa have his time alone with his dad and waited patiently outside.

"Oh?" Iwaizumi glance beside him to see oikawa's mother. He quickly stood up and bow to her,

"Hello miss oikawa… Its nice meeting you" She looked at him and smile, sitting down beside him.

"You're here with my son didn't you?" Iwaizumi sit back down and nod,

"He's in the room with your husband now…" She nod, not moving. Iwaizumi looked at her confused,

"You're not going in…?"

"I don't think tooru want to get interrupted… besides… he's hates me… " Iwaizumi looked down,

"I don't think he hates you… he just hates how you're not being there with him or how you're not supportive…"

"Eh… I know what I did was wrong… but I couldn't go against my husband's orders… he is the king in the household" iwaizumi nod,

"I guess you're right but still… he doesn't hate you"

"I know him well…" iwaizumi shook his head,

"Thats the thing with parents. They know their kids so well but in reality they actually don't. Even though you're his mother, you actually dont know your son too well. You don't know how much he struggle in the past…" miss oikawa sigh,

"I know… he has gone through depression didn't he?"

"To the point he was close to killing himself. You don't know on that day he commit suicide, you will be losing your son" She teared up,

"I wish I could be a better mom… even I too gone through depression… My husband was too busy to give me attention… I was all alone taking care of little tooru… There is time I wish I could kill this child… there is time I wish I could kill myself for thinking that… I don't know why… I felt like a hopeless mother… Tooru don't deserve to have a mom like me… The day when tooru born, everything was like hell… The baby cries I heard every night… I couldn't fall asleep. I wanted this child to be gone… but… but when I kept seeing those brown cute eyes looking at me, small cute tiny hands trying to reach out for me, I felt… *hic*" Iwaizumi smile,
