Arthur had Harry in the backseat, just picking him up to bring him out to the house just under two weeks until school started. Harry was telling him about what he'd seen just a few days ago. It was rather hard to fathom.
"I was across the yard when I saw my cousin, Dudley, attempting to flirt with a girl on the swing set. I went up to stop him before things went too far, just as he grabbed her book. And to all our shock, it wasn't a girl at all. Dudley was the one to state the obvious by yelling about how he was a boy. But when I called out 'Malfoy', he sort off turned into smoke before I could ask what he was doing dressed like that."
Arthur and Harry shared a good laugh. "Draco?" Arthur echoed, laughing. "In such clothes as that? He must be out of his bloody mind."
They continued to drive about the streets, though the car could fly. It was a rather dark night anyways and it was the early hours of the morning, so they agreed on driving around until the sun rose. Harry spoke about muggle things as they continued to drive.
About an hour before the sun rose, Harry spotted something through the window. It was a girl, she was in a knee-length skirt and, from what Harry could see, a cropped top. In the darkness, both looked black, but he was sure they held some colour.
"Mr. Weasley! Look!" Harry pointed from the backseat out to the girl. She swayed a little on what she sat on before falling over the back and laying motionless of the ground.
"I see her." Arthur remained calm as he approached, pulling the car over. He rolled down the window and spoke. "Quite alright?" He asked, but earned no response from the girl.
"I... I think she's passed out, Mr. Weasley." Harry said, though uncertain. Arthur nodded and got out of the car and walked up to the girl.
Harry could make out the words 'bloody hell' before Mr. Weasley knelt down and took the girl by the underarms. Harry's eyes grew wide as he saw, yet again, Malfoy. Though he didn't look well, his eyes were shadowed with loss of sleep and his skin was even paler than Harry had ever seen him. Malfoy's stomach was exposed thanks to the cut top he wore, he clearly hadn't eaten in days either.
Arthur dragged Malfoy back to the car and propped him in the passenger seat, his head turned to the window. Harry watched closely, seeing Malfoy's chest rise and fall weakly. After getting Malfoys trunk in the car, Arthur revved up the car and took off flying.
"Looks like we're headed off a bit early, Harry." He said, although sounding calm, it was clear he was just as nervous as Harry.
