This is a very renowned painting by Sandro Botticelli... ' The Birth of Venus '. Botticelli has portrayed how Aphrodite (Venus in Roman ) was born from the sea foam near cyprus . Legends say that she was born when sky or Uranas was murdered by his son , Cronus . Aphrodite is the goddess of love and beauty.... which implies that love is the product of the first murder in the universe. Imagine the nature of love . As beautiful as it is , it can ruin your life in a blink . Whenever I see this picture, I feel something different , something powerful. Cause it reminds me how helplessly we are bound to love , how no human being on earth cannot be devoid of emotions .But above all , love has a strange clarity. It makes us powerful from the very core. This regal beauty has inspired me to write this poem.
