"How does this person know my name?" Brice thought, bending down to pick up the scroll. The tone of voice sounded knowledgeable but also had a soft ring to it. He couldn't help but think that his voice sounded absolutely adorable. "Wait...What?!"
"Yes, that's right. And you are?" Following him in.
"I am Setosorcerer or Seto. Pleasure to meet you."
""Sorcerer". Curiouser and curiouser."
Curious and awed by the grandeur of Seto's tower, he pulled his eyes diverting his attention back to back to Seto; he noticed that Seto was wearing a hood, obscuring and shadowing his face. Naturally, Brice had to find out what Seto looked like.
"Oh...Uh..." Rubbing the back of his neck. "Here's your scroll." Handing it over.
"Thank you." Taking the scroll, unfurling and examining the delicate gilded scripture. Sitting, he briefly gestured for Brice to take a seat beside him. Returning his attention to the scroll, Seto began to whisper these precious runes and in turn, became lost in his own thoughts.
Brice, then leaned in to gently brush away his hood, letting it drop.
Gazing deeper into his eyes, Brice saw that Seto really had trusted him. To put his trust into him to bring back something so precious. At that moment, his heart started to race at that thought, remembering what the scroll had uttered to him earlier.
"My one of a kind."
Did Seto really mean that?
Why does my heart twinge at the new sparks? I feel as though I've just unearthed a long lost connection to Seto.
How? We've only just met. Am I really falling for him?
