You know that time when you used to recite in school, you were always present and excited when there were activities and stuff. But some people hated you for it. They called you "pasikat", "pabida", "sipsip", and any other Tagalog term they would call you for being active in school. These people had nothing but envy and jealousy inside of them. I guess, they couldn't do what you were doing, so instead, they choose to drag you down. Well honey, let me tell you this. There is nothing wrong with you being like that. Actually, it's how every student should be! Classmates who smart-shame you are the ones who envy you, but if they were true friends, they would be proud of you even more! They would think that their bestfriend is excelling in class, who wouldn't be happy about that? Well, your jealous 'friends' would. I want you to know, no matter who you are, to never change the way you do things just because some other people hate you for that. Be yourself. That's what my friends say to me, too. At times, people talk about me too, I don't hear them though, I just know. And look at me now! I've grown, I have matured, I don't think about what other people think of me anymore, and it feels really great. It's really easy, when you know who you are, I'm sure enough you'll get the hang of it. So, for this chapter, let me leave you this message, don't forget it!
Always keep this in mind;
If you are doing the right thing, no one could step on you, no one. And remember, don't let ANYONE drag you down, ever.
