Chapter 3

Heyyyyyy.... I'm done with crying, so I'm writing this chapter!.. I hope you like it.. I have a headache so it may not be the best... ily guys!...

Blue's POV

Nightmare went around the fire, came to me, and laid down next to me, carefully wrapping his arm around me. I was silent, the pain was getting to me. And I was trying my hardest not to cry. "... you can cry.. it won't hurt.." nightmare said. I responded "I don't like showing weakness... crying shows weakness.." "that's not true.. crying shows that you're strong.. that you have gone through a lot and you're making it through it... all the pain.. scars... crying shows the people around you all of your strength.." nightmare said in response to me. ... i started to cry, crying silently, tears streaming down my face... "th-thank you, ni-nightmare..." I said. "it's not a problem.. Someone showed me that years ago.. so.. now I'm showing it to you..." nightmare said. I was silent in return, closing my eyes, resting them. I wasn't trying to sleep.. But, before I knew it.. I fell asleep...

When I woke up, I looked around to find no one was there. I was in the cave alone. So, I waited and I continued to wait. Hours passed and I was getting hungry. I looked outside, it wasn't snowing anymore and there were footprints, nightmare's footprints, leading into the forest. I stared at them for a few seconds before going out and following them. I was soon met with bloodstained snow. I stared at it, then I looked around, soon seeing nightmare with a dead dear hanging from his tenticals. "Nighty?.." I asked. Nightmare looked at me and went to me hugging me. "What are you doing out here? You could get cold, blue!" "So could you!" "No, my hate keeps me warm. I was just hunting so we'd actually have food." "I can see that. Well... let's go back to the cave.. I'm-I'm starving..." "okay.." so, we went back to the cave. I waited in the cave for nighty to finish cooking the food, I was just sitting against a wall, watching nightmare do all the work. "I can
hel-" "no." Nightmare cut me off. ".... okay.." I hugged my legs, waiting for nightmare to finish cooking the food and do the work.

Nightmare's POV

"No." I said, not wanting blue to waste his energy while helping me. ".... okay.." Blue said, I looked at him, a slight sad look on my face, but I soon looked back at the food, it being almost done. Soon, the food finished cooking and I took it off the fire and gave it to blue. "It may not taste the best but it's still food... so here." I said as blue grabbed the food and started eating. I grabbed my portion of food and started eating myself. It was actually pretty good for having no seasoning to put on it. Soon, me and blue finished our food. Blue yawned, I looked at him, he looked tired and I pushed him down, making his head lay on my lap as he laid down fully and closed his eyes, slowly falling asleep. I smiled softly as I had closed my eyes, drifting to sleep as well.
