Billie's pov 3 weeks later Only one day until y/n leaves for her tour, we have been spending most of our time together. We've been on a few dates and hung out in our secret garden. I really don't want her to go but I know she needs to, we have both promised to try and call each other. She has had lots of meetings for her dances,clothes and staging ideas. I think her shows are going to be awesome. The amas are tonight me and y/n are both due to perform, I going to be singing Therefore I am and Courtney is singing consequences. (I know this is wrong because Camila actually performed consequences at the 2018 amas so I decided to change it. So it's the 2020 amas so that Billie could perform as well as y/n ). We are both very excited I'm currently sat in my dressing room right now getting prepared for the show, I'm on first and then an hour later y/n is on so she is currently sat with my family except from Finneas as he's performing with me (let's just forget about Corona, so that's final corona doesn't exist in the book but please stay safe). Just then a crew member walks in and shouts, "5 minutes" I'm already ready, my phone then get a notification. I look down to see a message from y/n wishing me luck, which I replied back with a thank you. The time has come as I got escorted to the stage and the beat started to play.

Throughout the song I made eye contact with y/n who was smiling back at me. Before I knew it the song had came to an end and I said, "Thank you!" And walked of stage and got changed into my red carpet outfit and sat down with everyone. Only an hour before y/n performs.
Y/n's pov Me and Billie talked for a bit before my team told me I had to get ready, everyone wished me luck as I went to my dressing room. My team began doing what they do as I got changed. I decided to have a live orchestra to make the song sound more like a ballad. I also decided to shock everybody there by wearing a dress, usually I'm wearing oversized clothes. I got a bit of makeup on, my hair has been straightened and I got some jewellery on(earrings,necklace and bracelet).

Everything is all set up, we were all waiting for the go ahead I knew I had less than 5 minutes and just then I heard my name being called out. I stood in my position in the centre of the stage with a microphone and a stand waiting for the music. As the music began and the curtain raised, I saw everyone in shock. They then began cheering. I then started singing. Just pretend this is y/n not Camila.
As the song came to an end I could see a lot of people crying, I just wanted to hug them all I looked over to Billie and sent a small smile as the curtain dropped again. My crew rushed to me and began hugging me and congratulating me, we all got kicked of stage and they began taking my in ear monitors out. I decided to stay in what I was wearing and thanked my crew and said, " I will see you all tomorrow for tour, love you all!" I walked back to my seat getting a lot of positive comments from other celebrities. Billie just stared at me as the rest of the family talked to me, I looked other to Billie and tried talking to her but she didn't reply so I waved my hand in front of her face making her look up at me. Everyone laughed. I then spoke up in a confused tone, "Are you ok?" She smiled and replied, "I'm great, I'm loving the dress by the way." I laughed and told about me deciding to change my look up. By the end of the night me and Billie both went home with 2 awards each (I know this isn't true but it's in the book). Everyone was staying at mine because it was the last night I was going to spend with them all.
