Karla never had time for me. She was always on her phone and would always came back to my apartment late at night or the early hours of the morning. If I mentioned anything to her she would slap me across the face and call me an ungrateful bitch, I would always run out of my apartment with tears in my eyes and go straight to my best friend, scarlett's house. Scarlett, my mum and the police are the only people that knew what happened in the 3 month relationship me and Karla shared.
One day Karla was in the shower when her phone buzzed I went to pick it up and shout to her saying she got a message, when I look down at the phone it was a text saying,
"Hey babe, lily here I was wondering when you were leaving that bitch Courtney,
I can't wait until tomorrow. Hope you wear something sexy 😉❤️."

I instantly drop the phone on the stand and pretended nothing happened. As she came out the bathroom she said she wouldn't be able to stop by tomorrow because she had some extra work to do. I just nodded knowing what she was really doing. I texted scarlett and told her everything she texted me telling me to call her out on her shit. (This was the worse idea everr!)
I sat there thinking about whether or not to call her out on it. I decided to do it.
I walked powerfully out to the lounge, she was sat smiling at her phone. I grabbed her phone off her and shouted,
"I know everything!"
Karla looked confused, "know what?"
I brushed my hand though my hair and shouted, "the girl called lily your meeting up with tomorrow!"
Karla smirked at me and said "you finally found out then"
I shouted, "Wtf it's wrong with you you told me we would be forever, your just a bitch who wants to get into everyone's pants!!!"
As soon a I said that she jumped up and grabbed my neck, she grabbed something shiny out her pocket and brought it up in front of my face, as I side eyed the object it turned out to be a knife.

By now I was struggling to breathe, I was terrified by what she was going to do next. I told her to let me go, she ignored my begging. I turned and kicked her in the stomach and she stumbled back, as her grip loosened I pushed her off of me and ran straight to the bathroom and locked the door, her footsteps echoed thought out the apartment. She began kicking at the door, it shook with every hit.
I decided to call scarlett she answered I told her what was happening and told her to stay on the line just in case anything happened. The door flew open and Karla walked in laughing and said,
"You really thought you could keep me out?"
I stood there trembling against the sink trying to get as far away ad I could from her.
I begged her not to hurt me, as she lunged forward with the knife. It plunged into my stomach I screamed in agony. She then pulled the knife out of my stomach and laughed as fell down onto the cold tiles screaming in pain as my blood began to pour out of me.
Karla ran out of the apartment without another word.
I heard Scarlett ask if everything was alright and that she was coming over.
A few minutes later I heard foot steps approach me and a scream, I knew it was Scarlett. She began talking in to her phone as she came in and sat next to me. She was crying. I reached my hand out to her and gave her hand a squeeze and told her everything would be fine.
She weakly smiled at me, my breathing suddenly went weak and I was gasping for air, " I love you ( friendly love)" I whispered weakly. Then I blacked out.

I woke up in a hospital my mum and scarlett was sat next to the bed they were smiling at as I woke up
"Hey, honey" my mum chirped
"Hi" I rasped
"Are you in any pain?" Scarlett asked
"A bit" I muttered
Scarlett called the nurse and she gave me some pain killers.
"Don't worry about Karla, she's not gonna hurt you again. The police found her and now she's in prison" scarlett told me.
I was relieved, I didn't need to worry about her anymore.
