To say Midas was ignoring you was an understatement.

That man must've convinced himself you didn't exist.

Not a single glance your direction, no snarky remarks, no nothing.

You realised he must've been trying to fix his friendship with Drift, after Drift walked in on a questionable scene of his younger sister and his bestfriend kissing.

It was frustrating timing, just as you and Midas seemed to have kindled some sort of connection.

And now it was lost, all because your stupid brother couldn't stay in bed.

You knew Drift had every right to be angry, especially at Midas. But this whole 'Midas ignoring you' thing was starting to piss you off.

"Y/n, can you pass me the date stamp?"

You shook your head, freeing yourself of your thoughts. You passed the stamp to Tina, sitting back in your chair. You had decided to help the others out with work, as you had nothing better to do.

"I'm shook. Midas hasn't insulted you once in the past week" Peely sniffed, scribbling notes down in a book.

"So am I.." You replied weakly, laying your head back. You stared at the ceiling, your face resting.

"He's too busy trying to crawl up Drifts ass. I've never seen Drift so mad in my life.." Tina sighed, typing away on the computer.

"I wonder why they're fighting?" Peely asked, crossing his arms.

"Yeah, I wonder.." You spoke, not really caring at that point. You heard the office door open, and Peely spun in his chair.

"Your files are ready, hurry up" Peely said, raising his eyebrows.

You lifted your head, seeing Midas in front of the desk. He averted his eyes, and just for a second caught your eyes with his. He cleared his throat and looked away, grabbing the files and leaving.

Peely pulled a face, smirking.

"I haven't seen him that flustered since his last walk of shame!" Peely giggled happily.

"Me too.. It's kind of ironic, him and Drift are fighting too at this time considering he just got flustered in front of Drifts sister.."

You whipped your head around.

"You guys are so off it's unbelievable. I would never go near that bastard or his-"

"So defensive aren't you Y/n? It's cute" Peely laughed, winking at Tina.

"Guys! It's not like that!" You gritted, shaking Tinas arm. They both just giggled, tapping the table with their hands.

"Sure! He's very much physically attractive, but it's not like I enjoy his presence! He's just an ass, that happens to have a nice ass!" You yelled, waving your arms to further your argument.
