The next day began the same way, with Addy being up too early to be necessary, having breakfast with Tommy, Toby, Dave and Will before eventually the others woke up.
They all ignored what had happened the day before.
"What's the plan for today, Big A?" Tommy asked.
"We could do tubing if we got enough people to do it."
"Sounds like fun."
"I heard tubing?" Wes asked, walking into the room with a blanket around her shoulders.
"Yeah. You in?"
"Of course. I enjoy watching you dunk people."
"Wait, what?"

They ended up taking Tommy, Toby, Will, Alistair, Clay, Nick and George on their first run. After getting to a deeper area of the lake, they stopped.
Addy turned to her friends. "Who wants to go first?"
"We can go first," Toby volunteered himself and Tommy.
"Is Tommy ok with that?"
"Sure, why not?"
"Can I film?" Clay asked.
"Sure."
Clay pulled out one of his GoPros and started filming.
"Oh, now?"
"Is that ok?"
"Yeah, of course," Addy quickly stated. "Should I intro?"
"Do you want to?" Clay chuckled.
"I don't care."
"You don't have to."
"Well, Sapnap, George, stand up, the jackets are in the seats."
The boys complied and Wes pulled up the cushion, revealing several life jackets. Addy pulled two out and handed them to Tommy and Toby. "These should fit."
"Are we gonna make this a competition?" Nick asked.
"Do we...want to make it a competition?" Alistair asked.
"I'm down. What's the prize?"
"Loser pays for candy?" Addy suggested.
"That's not fair! You're probably good at this!" Toby complained.
"I'm gonna have Wes drive for me, she's been doing this a while, she knows how to launch me."
"You bet I do."
"Is it weird to be nervous?" Toby asked.
"Don't worry, I'm just a writer."
"I don't know if that's more or less off putting," Alistair mused as Tommy and Toby clambered onto the tube.
"Hey, quick tip," Addy started as the pair started drifting away as she let out the line. "Lean back when we start. Don't want to get pulled under."
"What the fuck does that mean?" Tommy asked.
"Lean back, you'll be fine." Addy returned to the driver's chair. "Alright, you people watch them, make sure to tell me when we lose them."
"You seem pretty confident in your abilities," George observed.
"I've been coming here since I was a kid, I know shit." With a confident grin at the camera, Addy started the motor.
"You guys ready?" Will yelled.
"We're good!" Toby yelled as Tommy sent them a thumbs up.
"Ope, Tommy gave a thumbs up, you know what that means," Wes sing-songed ominously.
