"Your hero costume Master Kyokim," Franx bowed after placing a full costume set on the floral bed.
"Thanks, Franx," I thanked but before Franx could turn around, I continued. "I've been meaning to ask about this but, whats' a quirk, and why do we need a hero costume? And a hero? Aren't those in fairy tales?"
"It seems your memory loss is severe. Let me catch you up." Franx adjusted his tie and continued. "Most people born in this world have quirks. A quirk is a superhuman ability that each person has. The type of quirk you have is based on your parent's quirks. A hero is someone who protects civilians from villains and puts them to justice."
Huh? Superhuman powers? since when in the world did that happen? Do I have a quirk too? What in the-
"It seems I must go Master Kyokim. Please change in your hero costume and proceed to the dining room." Franx stated and walked out of the door, closing it behind his back.

Joelle looked down onto the bed and stared at the clothing for a while. Picking it up, she felt the soft silk of the black tailed-coat and the reddish-pink bow at the front. Placed beside the coat was a blue-grey beret and hat with a silky purplish-blue shirt and pants.
Picking it up to get a better view of it, she didn't really know what to say or think. She found out that she was teleported into an alternative world.
Joelle sat the clothes on the bed and sat down beside it, processing what she had just noticed. Everything was happening so quickly she didn't have time to think.
Looking into the mirror in front of the bed, she noticed a faint greyish in her hair. Putting down her hair from the ponytail, she noticed the back of her hair had been dyed greyish-white.
She lifted her hair so she could get a better view of it. Taking a big sigh, Joelle plopped down onto the bed. "What is actually happeningggg," she whined, smacking the back of her arm on her face, covering her eyes.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Joelle felt the silk with the tip of her fingers. She had never worn such fancy and elegant clothes before. She was quite enjoying this alternate world. But she still couldn't shake off how much she wanted to be back. Joelle didn't know where she was. Her surname changed from Kim to Kyokim. Oh, how she urged to go back to the normal world, with no magical powers, heroes, and villains.
At the corner of her eye, something glistened. Turning around, she saw a box placed on the table, on top of all the messy documents. The floral curtain matching the bed was closed but a little sunray made its way through the crooks and crannies and managed to shine on that one particular rectangle black box.
Walking over to the table and picking it up, Joelle investigated the box. It felt soft but hard at the same time, sort of comfortable. Opening the zip at the corner, inside the box she saw a pair of black spectacles, almost identical to the one she saw her uncle wear. The only difference was the side of the spectacle. There were multiple small blue flowers imprinted on it.
"Forget-me-nots..." She thought out loud.
The spectacles felt comfortable and strangely familiar on Joelle's hands but a stranger at the same time. Joelle had the sudden urge to put the spectacles on, so she did.
"CLICK*
In the blink of an eye, what seemed like a thousand blue squares and rectangles appeared right in front of her eyes. It was just like how you would switch on your long-forgotten pc and a bunch of error sites popped up on your screen. Immediately, Joelle threw the glasses on the floor from shock and all the blue squares and cubes disappeared.
