"Yes, Yes. Now focus on the word news," Elultra taught.

Elultra had been training Joelle in using her quirk for the past 2 hours. But Joelle wasn't complaining. They just had so many things to explore and use, Joelle could spend the whole day using her quirk. Although Elultra had warned her that there will be side effects after using her quirk for too long, Joelle didn't want to stop. This was a really fun experience for her and she wanted to experience this while she can.

Focusing on the word news as she did with the hundred other things, the news opened up.

𝘕𝘶𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘰 𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘔𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘣𝘰𝘺 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘚𝘭𝘶𝘥𝘨𝘦 𝘷𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘯. 𝘚𝘭𝘶𝘥𝘨𝘦 𝘷𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘦𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘴 𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘮 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘥 𝘉𝘢𝘬𝘶𝘨𝘰 𝘒𝘢𝘵𝘴𝘶𝘬𝘪.

Below the news, there was an image attached to it. In the picture, a boy about the same age as Joelle was trapped by the sludge villain. The boy had blonde and spiky hair. He looked as if he was shouting for help. One of the slime strands was pulling his chin while two others were pulling on his forehead, resisting the boy from the villain's grip.

'Yikes,' Joelle thought. But she didn't think much of it and continued to explore more of her quirk.

------------------------------------------------------------------

A few days had passed. Joelle had been stuck in this alternate world for almost a week. But Joelle didn't feel the need to get back at all. She had no one to go back to. She was having the best time of her life here, especially with all these quirk things. Joelle got really close to Elultra too. Elultra is like a big sister to Joelle. She helps Joelle with her problems and hangs out with her every day.

Joelle had developed a hatred towards her uncle. He always treated the people below him badly, Even Joelle. At first, it started as harsh words, then it developed into loud shouting and screaming. Sometimes, if it's really bad, Lupin would smack Joelle on the head harshly. Joelle didn't say a thing. She couldn't. Why? Well, her quirk told her not to. No matter how bad the situation could be, A.I. always told her not to talk back. Today, Joelle got called into Lupin's office. If Joelle was honest with herself, she was quite excited as to what she was getting called in for. Elultra said something about a new school. Joelle had longed to get out of this house, but Lupin never allowed her to.

"Yes, master Lupin?" Joelle said with a dull voice. She didn't want to sound even a teen bit excited.

"For goodness sake, don't you know how to knock?" Lupin complained. He was sitting on his black leather chair with his back facing Joelle. Where Lupin was facing, there was a whole wall made out of glass that has a view of the whole battlefield. "So much to teach," Lupin sighed, turning his chair around to face Joelle.

"You're going to enter UA High School. Someone will come over tomorrow morning so you better be good." Lupin explained. Before Joelle could say anything else, Lupin had already ordered Franx to escort her back into her room.

Joelle's room was a master bedroom beside Elultra's. Joelle had not fully moved in yet so the room was fairly plain, besides the multiple glass materials Joelle had brought in to play with her quirk when she was bored. Entering her room, Joelle changed into the over-sized pajamas that Elultra had lent her and went into Elultra's room.

Opening the door, fresh air condition escaped the room, making a shiver form down Joelle's spine. Long beige curtains flowed from the ceiling to the ground. A big king-sized bed hung from the ceiling, with four ropes on the corners of the bed, almost touching the floor. Vines and leaves were covering the ropes to make it look a little tropical and wild. On the wall beside the bed, multiple white boom boxes were placed neatly on the cabinets which had blue led lights glowing out from the insides. All of them were playing a piece of rock music that is currently in the top five in sync. Below the bed, blue led lighting flowed out as well, enhancing the total look of the bed. In front, was a white cabinet with a big flat-screen television that is switched off on the wall on top of it. The white cabinet looked old but elegant. Like something that came out of an old movie. on the right side of the bed, white leather couches were placed neatly on top of a vintage carpet of a rock band that really stood out. A normal glass table was in the middle of the couches.
