Haruki

In a big city, there lived a blonde boy named Haruki, with his stepfather, Mr Carter, and his stepbrother and stepsister, Alfie and Cathy. Even though Haruki was not his stepfather's favourite, he and his stepfamily got on well. 

He had a crush on a boy on his class named Maron, but Maron was from the royal family, and the law prohibited the love of a royal heir with a commoner. One day, Maron's mother, Queen Sophia, decided to marry her son, so she hosted a ball and invited everyone in the village to join. 

Now Haruki was really excited to go to the ball, his biggest dream was to dance with his crush, but he wasn't so sure about how his stepfather would react. While Alfie and Cathy were preparing for the party, Haruki decided to not make his stepfather angry and to not go. 

But Mr Carter talked to Haruki: "Haruki, your siblings are preparing for the ball, why don't you prepare too?" 

Haruki replied: "I didn't want to make you angry, dad." 

Mr Carter ordered Haruki to get dressed, and they left to the party. 

Haruki had a blue suit with a blue star on his head. He had covered his hair with a red cap to make sure Maron wouldn't recognise him. 

At Midnight, Haruki told his stepfather he was leaving, but dropped the blue star on his way.  Maron felt that he had seen that stranger before, but decided to brush it off. The next day in school, Haruki was drawing some adventure of a videogame, and Maron sat next to him. 

"M-Maron?"

Maron looked at Haruki while he was containing his laugh: " You dropped the star yesterday Haru". 

Haruki tried to deny it: " It wasn't me, I promise."

Maron now was laughing hard: "You think you can fool me with that disguise?" You forgot to put in contacts. You're the only boy with purple eyes in the whole village!" 

Haruki was now red as a tomato, how could he forgot to change his eye colour? 

He felt so stupid. 

Maron added: " And a little birdie told me you have a crush on me." 

Haruki was now stuttering: "W-who? Who to-told you?" 

"Your stepfather". 

"And I love you back, blonde idiot!"

Haruki's brain decided to mentally die and Haruki fainted of embarassment.
