Chapter 11

[Tell me about it]

Jennie's POV

The sunset is raining over her, she was beaming. I was mesmerized by her doe eyes again. Her beauty is breathtaking. Lisa's eyes dilated, she bit her lip. She leaned closer, warming the gap between us. An inch away,
her eyes closed. My heart is going crazy. I can feel the butterflies in my stomach. I can feel her breathing. I quickly closed my eyes waiting for Lisa's touch on my chin.

Is it just a dream?

Is this for real?

De Javu?

Out of the blue, the wheel has finally stopped. We almost kissed.

Lisa sat straight as she pressed her lips together. Trying to pretend 'nothing' happened.

"Um-I gu-guess we should go. Our friends might be waiting for us outside," Lisa adjusting the collar of the hoodie she was wearing. Instead of staying for a while, she opened the door for kicks. Lisa mumbled, "a-after you?"

"Jennie Kim are you still with us?" Someone called my name. The speaker is watching me under her critical eye.

"Huh? Sorry, what?" I snapped out. I shift my attention to Park Bom seonsaengnim. We're actually having a club meeting right now though that day in the amusement park won't stop replaying in my head. It's been three days thinking of my "annoying" neighbor's charming face. I don't know how to get rid of Lisa's image. It's like, she cast me under a spell remembering her barbie doll figure everyday.

What's wrong with me??

This weird feeling starts to bloom. I started dreaming up possibilities with her. I picture myself with her forever. I want to make her the happiest person in this world

Is this what you call, falling in-

"Jennie to earth. Jennie to earth. Helloooooo. Park seonsaengnim was discussing something for the upcoming school events. Perhaps you should give it a shot," Rosé whispered in my ear. I blinked, picking up my senses where I left off.

"Oh. Uh, how about you? Aren't you interested?" I snicked awkwardly.

"We'll see about that," Rosé stretched her arms and sat comfortably.

"Tomorrow, as you all know, there will be parents and teachers orientation for freshmen. Our very own violinist, Mr. Cha Eun Woo, and I will have an intermission. And for next week, the school's foundation day is fast approaching. The glee club and the student council will collaborate for the said event," Park seonsaengnim paused her announcement.

Eventually, someone knocked on the door. Our club moderator swiftly looked at the person, her face beamed. "You're right on time! Come in!" She hailed.

The click-clack of the woman's high heels clattered. She walked with poise and head up high making everyone unease except for me of course. In one glance, I recognized her prevailing grin.

"Yeoreobun! Meet student council's moderator, Lee Chae Rin. She'll announce something very important. Take it away CL-roo!" Park seonsaengnim clapped.
