~Elena POV~

As I slowly got up I felt my whole body aching in agony. I looked around and saw the walls of an old warehouse just outside of Mystic Falls.

My ears picked up the sound of two other heart beats. I slowly and cautiously turned my body to see Bonnie with...y/n?

"Bonnie?" I said with my eyes still blurred. "Elena? Oh finally you're awake do you know what happened?" I took a minute to answer until it come back to me..."Katherine," we soon heard the sound of clicking heels and we turned to focus on the vampire with curled hair and a wicked smile on her face.

"Sister?" We all turned to look at the other presence in the old dusty warehouse who was strapped to a chair with what looked like dry blood that had once trickled down her face.

After I muttered that one word I felt people's eyes on me, I slowly lifted my head to look up at my sister who was once kind and caring ,but recently she has given me reason to believe she has been strangled and suffocated with suffering and malice until she let it in.

I felt cold tears of remorse slide down my face as I stared deep into those familiar eyes yet they look different. She slowly squatted to my level and brought her hand to my face causing me to flinch making her hesitate before she wiped away my tears.

It was no use since more fell as I spoke in a low whisper with my hoarse and shaky voice, "what are you going to do to me," I paused and let out an empty laugh, " Are you going to kill me?"

She turned away and my humoured face fell as I began struggling against the chains that bound me to the old steel chair.

"No please you ,you can't I'm your sister you're meant to love me Katerina please I love you ,you can't please I'll forgive you just please don't, we are family doesn't that mean anything to you Katerina?"

She turned towards me again exhaling slowly and let out a low whisper that I could only make out as a 'sorry'. I felt rage and sorrow slowly fill me up as it traveled up my throat as I screamed at her until I said some thing that I knew would catch her attention.

"You said you would love me till the end of time as I was the most precious thing you had, you said you would cradle me in your heart as if I was not a sister ,but a daughter as you had practically raise me." She turned her head to face me.

Then what she said scared me but filled me with curiosity "you are my family and I love you but I can't love what resides in you I refuse to love klaus's child and truly call it family so if you die to get rid of the child so be it. I'm trying to protect us." As she walked towards the others as my mind raced.
