~Damon's POV~

I placed her on the old wooden oak chair ,the back facing the fire place as it was positioned in the middle of the room.

I began securing her to the rotting wood with rope only now noticing the friction burns around her wrists and the wrings that still hugged her ring finger ever so gently.

I stood up and stared at her my mind flickering through what to do to her first until my phone begun to chime. I pulled it out from my back pocket squinting at the screen as it lit up, Hero Hair. I snickered at my nick name for him and answered the call putting it to my ear.

I kicked open the door strolling inside. Shut the door and slowly locked it. The sound caused the two other vampires to turn their head to me.

I watched in sorrow as Elena's tears flowed down her cheeks when she turned to a lump on the sofa only then did I pick up on that all to familiar smell of death.

I made my way over and saw Jeremy's limp body covered with a thin blanket. Elena began wailing and spluttering and mumbling incoherent sentences. I couldn't take it anymore. I grabbed her arms causing her to look at me.

"Elena turn it off," I demanded. I could hear my brother's protests ,but we both know it was to late. She grabbed the alcohol and threw it everywhere. Her hair flowed behind her as she grabbed the match box. As the flame lit you could see in her eyes she had flipped the switch and then there was...

~Your POV~
~ •••••••••••••• ~

I felt pounding on my skull. The grime and dirt that still resides on me. The bile that crept up my throat. My eyes fluttered open only to be greeted with an unfamiliar house. I took in my surroundings as the tight ropes around me began to dig into my skin.

I felt dread wash over me I felt lost. I needed my husband. I needed Nick. I felt instinct take over and I swung back on forth on the old chair. I felt myself falling then the hard smack of the ground that met my already aching body accompanied by the sound of the old wood braking.

I slipped from out my binds and stood up feeling the wood splinter from under my bare feet as I had not had time to change since my sister took me from where I had only been a few days ago curled around a toilet ill ,but now it has come to my attention that may have just been morning sickness.

Nether the less I stood up on my two shaky bruised legs and grabbed a sharp piece of wood and made my way around the house. I occasionally glanced at the old themed interior until I was faced with a large door.

I brushed my fingers on the cold metal door handle causing goosebumps to run up my arm and across my body. I heaved the dark oak door open being met with the sweet crisp night air as the breeze licked at my face and tattered clothes.

Then I ran. Trying to find where I once was. Where Nick was. I clenched the wood in my hand my knuckles turning white as paranoia whispered in my ear. I eventually turned a corner and there it was.
Home.

I limped my way up to the door step as I had twisted my ankle along the way. I opened the door and was washed in that familiar smell I so longed to have back in my senses and the warmth kiss my face.

The door slammed shut causing me to let out a small shriek and hold the piece of wood I carried close to my chest. I heard the familiar sound of air whisk away creating a swoosh like sound that signified a vampire has arrived.

I felt warm breath on my neck and a presence behind me. I felt them slowly reach over and pry the old wood out of my hand. They gently laid a hand on my shoulder. I was swiftly turned around and was met with the face of...
