Lily had swam away from the desert and arrived on the main island where she had first arrived. After a long while of wandering and sniffing, she finally found the beach, which looked exactly like it did before when she arrived weeks ago. Sand, palm trees, purple shells, water...
Lily walked onto the beach. She didn't think she'd be coming back here anymore. She wanted to find new places to rest at. Maybe, if she were lucky, she'd find her home again.
She dug a small hole in the sand with her paws, then removed her crystal necklace. She dropped it in the hole, then covered it back up.
She glanced at the vast ocean, then at the island one last time. She believed this would be her last time coming here. But this was for her own safety, an assassin was hunting her down.
She slowly stepped into the water. Soon the water was leg's length, shoulder's length, neck length. She swam in the water, away from Sundown Island, towards somewhere else, a place that was maybe safer.
