"Come on Bucky! We're going to be late," Steve shouted down the hall through their shared house.

"One second! I'm trying to find my jacket," Bucky shouted back.

Rushing around his room, he started digging through the dirty clothes mixed with the clean ones that he never got around to separating. Sam was sitting on his bed smiling at the chaos that Bucky was creating for himself.

"You trying to look good for your girl?" Sam said with a smirk, watching him frantically run to his closet for the third time and scuffle through the mess of clothes.

"Shut up. She's not my girl. It's Steve's little sister for God's sake. She's like the second little sister I didn't want, but ended up adopting thanks to our families being so close," Bucky groaned.

"Then why are you looking for your good jacket? I know you only wear that when you're going out and trying to get a date for the night, or... Impress someone. All that leather and-" The teasing in Sam's voice was on full blast as he started making kissing sounds before he finished the sentence.

"You're disgusting," Bucky cringed, wrinkling his nose. "Why are you even in my room?" He threw a dirty gym shirt he had picked up at Sam, but he caught it.

"You owe me five bucks. I'm just dropping by the bank to collect," Sam shrugged.

"And you couldn't wait until I got back?"

"I could, but then I wouldn't be able to tease you while you're clearly stressed out at seeing Y/N after 4 years." The chuckle that came out of him was another teasing one that made Bucky send him a resting bitch face.

Finally, he saw the jacket on the chair in the corner covered by the shirt he wore yesterday and had carelessly tossed it over the night before.

"Bucky!" Steve shouted again.

"Coming!" he shouted back. "You'll get your five bucks later. Get out of my room," he groaned, opening the door wider and motioning his roommate out.

"Sheesh, so commanding," Sam said, walking out with hands raised in mock surrender. "But I bet the girls love that." In return, Bucky gave him a swift slap to the back of his head. "Ow, you ass!" Sam hissed, going back to return the hit.

"Stop it!" Bucky retaliated slapping him back. The violent banter became a cycle.

"You started it!" Sam retaliated.

"Bucky, stop cat-fighting with Sam and get your ass in gear!" Steve shouted.

"Fine," he relented, stepping away with squinted eyes at Sam.

"Tell her I said hi!" Sam smirked.

"You've never even met her," Bucky sighed, moving to the door and rolling his eyes when he turned his back to him.

"Doesn't mean I can't say hi!"

"See you tomorrow, Sam!" Steve said, walking out the door with Bucky behind him.

"See ya!"

"Did she tell you what she was wearing?" Bucky asked, watching the other travelers search for their own car or taxi in the pickup line.

"Why?" Steve asked, ducking his head and never breaking his eye line from the door she was supposed to be coming out of.

"So we can spot her, punk," Bucky answered. "Lot of people coming in and out of here today."

"I'll be able to spot her," Steve waved off. "It's not like I haven't seen her in forever. We Facetime all the time and she was here a few Christmases ago."
