Dylan's POV

We had set up a little welcome party in my room, because Savanna didn't get a proper welcome. I had told her in the elevator to come to my room when see was ready. It had been a while and I went to check on her.I couldn't hear a thing, Dexter said she didn't come open the door for him. I heard the guitar strum up and her voice star, but it wasn't a song I'd heard before.

"The thought of your voice

the look in your eyes

I couldn't even tell this was goodbye.

Falling to hard

heart breaking now

I won't let down my guard.

Pushed and Pulled

banging up against the wall.....

Our loves like a card game, that you've always won

Now I got no money left, I'm useless to you..."

Then it stopped. I knocked on the door and I opened to see a red faced Savanna. I just dropped down and hugged her. Having a sister myself sometimes they just need a shoulder to cry on. I pick her up and she weighted like, next to nothing. I placed her on the bed, positioning myself so she could just cry. We stayed like that for about 20 minutes until she stopped.

"Sorry, I..." She started to speak. I cut her off.

"No need to apologize, but can you tell me what's going on?" I asked her. She explained everything that was bugging her. I7 just listened to her, nodding my head and taking in all the information. It broke my heart to see this girl, the Savanna we met, crying and helpless. She seemed so strong and couragous. I look at her emerald eyes clouded with sadness. I leaned in and kissed her head. I have a feeling that isn't the whole story. I don't want to push her, but I do want to let her know we are here for her.

"Look, Dylan. Thanks. I really needed someone just to listen." She said to me reaching to hug me. I pulled her close.

"Hey, I'm here anytime you need, just call. Kay?" She nods. She wanders into the washroom and I wait as she turns on the shower and I assume hops in. She sings a bit, loud enough for me to hear. It's a beautiful song. I hadn't ever heard it before. I assumed she wrote it. (Please imagine that she wrote it, I's actually by Cassadee Pope)

"7 years old everything was right, table for 4 on a Friday night, did see any signs of a dead end road. By the time I was 10, everything was changin', fell asleep every night prayin', didn't know what way to go. Mama did her best to hide her anger, and I did my best to try and save her. I was a little to young and a little to dumb, to ever think they day would come when dad would drive away and take his love with him. So I grew up fast in a whole new world, waved goodbye to that little girl, I can see her now, innocent and 7. I wished I had never turned 11. We moved in to a smaller house, how mama did it all, I don't know how. Never went to bed without eating. At 13 a finally realized, what it means to get on with your life, well daddy sure did, and he made it look easy. Mama did her best to hide the struggle, and I did my best to stay out of trouble. I was a little to young and a little to dumb, to ever think they day would come when dad would drive away and take his love with him. So I grew up fast in a whole new world, waved goodbye to that little girl, I can see her now, innocent and 7. I wished I had never turned 11. Well I wish that I could tun back time and tell myself it'll be alright, you'll never lose the light, in your eyes. I was a little to young and a little to dumb, to ever think the day would come. So I grew up fast in a whole new world, waved goodbye to that little girl, I can see her now, innocent and 7. I wished I had never turned 11. I wished I had never turned 11. I wished I had never, turned 11." Then the shower turned off.

She came out 10 minutes later, clean and fresh. She ran over to a pad of paper and started writing like mad.

"That was amazing!" I said referring to the song. She nodded then there was a knock on the door. I looked through the peep hole and saw Kaya out there. "Can Kaya come in Anna?" She nodded, not even looking up, still writing. I opened the door. I was greeted by Kaya's worried expression.

"Oh my goodness! Is Savanna okay?" I nodded and opened the door so she could see that Savanna was madly writing down something. Kaya walked in and sat on the bed. I closed the door then joined her. When Savanna was done writing, whatever down, she grabbed her guitar. Okay so a song. I peeked at the book. It was the words she was singing in the shower. She played a couple of cords before writing. Then she played the first part. Then continued with that. Kaya and I sang a bit of backup for her when she got to the chorus. Eventually everyone was here listening to Savanna write a song. When she finished she looked up at everyone and smile. That smile we first saw. That true to god Savanna smile.

"How about that surprise now?" I asked as she nodded.

"I need to change though. Should I change casual or fancy?" She asked.

"Hummmm, Fancy!" I shout and we run out of the room. We all change into nicer clothing and get ready for Savanna. She knocked on the hotel room door and I opened it. She awed at the blue and pink streamers and balloons. She was wearing a beautiful dress too.

"Welcome to our family Savanna!" Everyone shouted. She ran up and hugged everyone.

"Thanks guys!" She said still smiling from ear to ear. Everyone was happier now that she was. She gave off this playful aura and just had the biggest heart. You didn't need to dig to deep to find out she'd been hurt though. She doesn't trust easy. We partied for a little while until we all got a bit tired. Bit is an understatement. Blake was about to like tip over and fall asleep on the floor and Savanna was asleep on the couch. I walked over to Savanna's purse and looked through it for her key card. Will had taken the liberty to get Blake to his room. When I found it, I went and picked up Savanna bridle style. I carried her across the hall into her room. I call over Kaya, who said she'd get Savanna's Pajamas on her. I left to let Kaya do that and got back to my room. I started to take down the balloons and streamers. Kaya walked in and started to help.

"What happened with You and Savanna? In her room?" Kaya asked.

"She told me stuff, things that someone needed to hear." That was the last thing I said that night.
