The morning woke Tony slowly, pulling him from his dream as lightly as the curtain on his window was.
As he moved on his bed, flashes from his dream came back. Hand holding, flushed skin and extremely familiar eyes.
Quickly, Tony felt himself blush and had to cover his face.
When minutes had passed and Tony had finally overcome his nervousness he got up. Quietly he got dressed and combed his hair.
As he walked to go downstairs he passed but the guest room and saw the door was slightly open. As curiosity took the best of him, he looked inside to find Hugh cutting his own hair.
Hesitantly, Tony knocked, pushing the door open. Hugh cut one last hair strand before turning to look. Immediately a smile lit up his face.
"Good morning."
"Morning... I saw you cutting your hair. Though you might want some help?"
"Thank you, that's very thoughtful. I actually don't need help but why don't you stay? Tell me what you think about my new haircut."
Tony walked inside he room to stand closer to Hugh, "Looks good from what I see."
"Would you like me to cut yours?"
Tony started pulling on the end of one sleeve from his cardigan, "it's been a while since I've trimmed it."
Together they moved to the bathroom, where Hugh washed Tony's hair. Afterwards, he took away most of the water with the help of a towel. Then he was finally able to start cutting.
Tony could help but hold his breath. When Hugh was still taking care of the back hair, his hand would brush his neck every other time as he gathered certain strands of hair. Though the worst was when worked on the front. During that time Tony found himself looking at the tile floor. When he thought Hugh was almost done he did the grave mistake of looking up and was once again in visual contact with Hugh's own eyes. Their noses were close as well almost touching and before anything could happen he looked at floor once again.

That morning, Josefina decided breakfast would be served on the greenhouse. It was Hugh's last day over and she wanted something special.
The meal was drawn out like every other one. Josefina and Hugh talking while Tony ate his food in silence.
At some point Josefina had to go back to the house to get more coffee. Tony kept his eyes trained on the table, looking at Hugh's hand.
"Can you believe this is my last day here?"
"Unfortunately I can."
"I didn't imagine you'd miss me." Hugh whispered.
"I didn't say that." Tony stated, "but I definitely will." As bravely as he could, he finally took hold of Hugh's hand. Sticky fingers squished together.

It was during that same day, at night, that Tony left his bedroom to go to Hugh's own. And stole a simple chaste kiss before his leave.
