Torture was a small word for what I felt the entire biology class, the teacher would look at me every minute and give me death glares and I would just look the other way.
After class I heard my name being called as I exited the class, I turned around and found a blonde girl coming my way, dragging Nathan with her .
“Hi! I’m Stella and this is my cousin Nate. We are your partners” she’s too bright for me with all these smiles and cheery voice. Wait did she just say cousin? But from first impression they are nothing alike…
I nodded “Hey I’m Alex, nice meeting you Stella” I smiled and shook her hand.
“I heard from Nate, that you two met and judging by your meltdown in the class, it didn’t go well” I nodded and Nathan muttered “It’s Nathan, not Nate”
Obviously she heard him and ignored him, because she continued “So how about we make up this small misunderstanding and meet up at your place today?”
I chocked on my own spit, they can’t come to my house! Not now at least… I saw that what she said had the same effect on Nathan he glared at her “What? my house? I don’t think this is a good idea” I shook my head
“I agree with this guy for once, it’s not a good idea” I sighed loudly when I heard him and just closed my eyes why does he keep insisting that I am a guy!
“Ohh, hush you two, it’s a wonderful idea, we can order pizza, discuss the project and you two get to know each other more to get along till the project ends” she looks at me then at Nathan “So we meet at the gate by the end of the school day and Alex you will lead the way”
I was still unable to say anything, this girl have balls!! “Oh, look at the time, my class is about to start, bye!” she turned around and disappeared in the crowd before I could reply.
“I’m sorry about her, she just loves bugging into people’s lives” Nathan shook his head
“It’s fine, let’s just hope for the best” I shrugged and walked to my next class.
When lunch rolled in, I was famished and my mind kept drifting to Stella and Nathan, they are coming to visit my house and I am worried sick, because my family can be embarrassing when it comes to me making friends, or in this situations partners.
After eating lunch, I had 10 minutes till my class, so I sat in the field and start to remember the schedule of our house today
Ok Alex think, dad has a meeting today and will be home by 8pm, that’s good! I hope they will leave by then.
As for Matt, he’s home by 5:30 pm today, we will be there by then, but it’s ok he always sleep when he returns from his classes so everything will be fi- Oh no! they blue paint bucket! I am in deep shit, if it went down on him!
I groaned and headed to my class, I had history class, which means I still have a chance for breaking this after school meeting somehow.
As I entered, I saw that I was the first one there and Daniel was sitting in his desk reading a book. I bent down and tried to read the name of the book “What are you reading?”
He jumped at my question and hid the book behind his back “Alex! It’s nothing! It’s a book my neighbor gave to me”
His voice was shaking and looked nervous, I smirked “So Daniel, how good is 50 shades of grey. I love to read and I would like if it’s a good piece for my collection”
He groaned and sat down “how did you know?” he groaned and put his head in his hand, he was embarrassed.
I laughed and tapped his shoulder “you know a teacher reading this book is normal, I admit Anastasia and Christian are pretty hot, but not in school Daniel, that’s wired even for a teacher”
