Chapter 6
Life is a mistake; we live for the sake of knowledge yet what we gain are mistakes; mistake of befriending the wrong person; mistake of getting into jail; mistake of doing drugs; mistake of trusting people too much; mistake of falling in love; and the biggest mistake, the mistake of being too kind. A pile of mistakes above each other that can topple in any second, a pile that keeps on increasing and never decreasing. Don't believe the saying live life like it's your last day, because even in this moment all you are going to do are more mistakes.
After Nathan left, I kept on walking around the park thinking about life, I sighed and decided to go home. Once I placed the board on the floor when my phone went off "Yes?"
"Lexiiiiii" I groaned when I heard a drunk Matt
"Where are you?"
"Aw, you are a good little sister aren't you Lexi" I stayed quite for a while "I'm at my friend's party, come pick me up?" I sighed and asked him for the address before hanging up with him.
I skated my way towards the address. When I was close enough I heard music blasting though out the entire neighborhood.
I sent my skateboard and cello outside the house and went inside searching for my brother, someone came running into me knocking me off my foot; I groaned and stood up "Sorry man" I heard the guy say before running again knocking more people off their feet.
I went to the middle of the dance floor and looked around, I saw the typical types of teenagers that can be found in a high school party. People dancing, drinking, making out, Oh and there are people who actually having a conversation.
"Matt where the hell are you?" I sighed and dialed his number while going up the stairs, I opened the first door and just stood there "OH GOD NO!" I shouted hiding my eyes "My virgin eyes! They got filthy!"
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE?! SHIT!" Nathan shouted trying to hide what cannot be erased from my memory anymore.
"Wrong room" I said that and shut the door as fast as I opened it, I shuddered and kept on going into rooms, but I didn't do the same mistake this time I knocked, but I didn't here a knock. Once I got in, I scream "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?"
I walked into the room and looked at the girl "get out"
She was about to say something "I said GET OUT!" she walked out without saying a word.
"seriously Matt, don't call me to pick you up again if you are just going to be making out with girls when I walk in" he laughed and I sighed he's drunk "come on, lets get you home"
I took the car keys from him and placed his arm around my shoulder while walking down the stairs, he stumbled a bit but we reached the car safely. After getting him to sit in the passenger seat, I buckled him up "I'll get my stuff and be back okay?" he just mumbled a quick 'okay' before I locked the car door on him.
I found my skateboard and cello and picked them up before heading back to the car "never expected you to be a party girl type" I gasped and jumped in my place turning around. I turned different shades of red as an image of before came crashing into my brain "please don't talk to me for a while, until I get rid of the memory" I groaned and kept walking.
"What was I too amazing for you to handle?" I rolled my eyes and opened the car "your ego will be the death of you one day"
"You still didn't answer me, what got you here" I looked at the sleep talking Matt in the car and his eyes followed mine, that's when I heard the 'oh'
