Oh The Anchor

An anchor used metaphorically is something that keeps you sane, happy
But what happens when your anchor leaves you?
I'll tell you-
An anchor keeps you in the bright areas of the ocean
Where your ship is thriving, and there are only beautiful, kind, animals around
The anchor protects you and the ocean
But when it leaves, it lets all the monsters of the oceans in
Sharks, demons, predators
The water soon become a dingy colour, and blood makes its way up your nose
And the beautiful animals once living there are dead
You're left with the bad ones
And then the bad ones die
And you're left with nothing
And then your ship decays
And then you fall into despair
