The people scream, and scramble out of their houses.
Children in their arms, and important relics.
But they know deep down, they wont make it.
They watch from over their shoulders,
as their houses get covered in the molten lava.
And watch in horror, as it spreads further towards them.
At an ungodly pase. They watch the nearby tree catch fire.
And they watch loved ones die, in their failed attempt to escape.
The lava, from inside the mountain that once protected them,
Is now just screaming in their face. The words being-
"I HATE YOU, I KNEW YOU WHERE WORTHLESS"
And all they can do is take it. They cant do anything.
They cant yell back, because the backlash will bring worse for them.
They cant hit it, they'll get even more burned.
Theyre stuck.
Theyre doomed.
Theyre vulnerable.
They are all alone.
Mother Volcano, said they don't deserve love.
