outer banks 'paradise on earth'
INTRODUCTION
me (zara), alex, and maria all run away from home, to the outer banks. we meet a
group of friends (john b, jj, pope, and kie) and we all decide to join the group.

"so were doing it tonight?" maria asks unsure about the whole thing.
"yes. you don't have to come, but me and zara are going" alex says bluntly.
"come onnn, don't be such a party pooper. it'll be so fun!" i plead.
"alright, but y'all better not leave me for some guy." maria announced.
alex and i look at each other, then burst out laughing.
"guys, i'm serious." maria says.
"alright, alright. i guess we could do that." alex promises.
"just remember that i didn't agree." i say, smirking slightly. we all start laughing hysterically.
"okay, so remember, meet at exactly 10pm at the train station with only a backpack." alex says, as she remembers the plan. "it'll look suspicious if we bring more"
"alright, no phones either." i add.
"ok, got it." maria says "ah, i'm so excited!'
"me, too" i agree "alright, see you at 10pm sharp. the trains at ten past."
"kk, cya" alex says, and we all leave.

"hey maria!" i say, as i walk up to the train station.
"hey, zara" maria says
"is alex late?" i ask
"uh no, she just went for a cigarette."
"and you didn't try to stop her?" i ask, she shakes her head. "wow, you're changing already"
maria scoffs.
"im gonna go join her, i won't be a minute" i say and walk over.
"hi bitch" i say and grab the cigarette out of her hand.
"hey, sucker" alex says and smirks.
"haha" i say as i pout, then take a hit.
"shit, the trains meant to leave in two mins." alex says suddenly.
"fuck, we definitely can't miss it" i say
"no way" alex says, so we sprint over to the train, grab maria, and jump onto it just as the doors started to close. we slump into some seats- maria and alex opposite me.
"damn, that was a close one" i say and laugh.
"too close" says maria wearily.
"you tired already?" alex says teasingly.
"shut up" maria says babyishly.
"better get some sleep while you can, we have two hours on the train, then we have to walk a while." alex states "who knew it would take so long to get from west virginia to north carolina?"
"uh, the people that created gps?" i ask.
maria and alex start laughing at me.
"what?"
"you're just so stupid its funny" alex says.
"but i was right" i say, then pause, "was i not?"
we all laugh, and end up falling asleep.
!!!
"zara." says a voice coming from infront of me. "ZARA!"
"what, what. what is it?" i say wearily.
"the trains at the end. we've gotta get off." maria explains.
"now!" alex adds.
i make some weird sound in-between a 'ugh' and a moan? idek lol.
"what the fu-" i start.
"no time for talking" alex says rushing us.
"guys..." maria says, but we ignore her. "GUYS!!!" maria shouts.
maria never shouts, so we turn to her as she points to the door. a very angry looking man strides toward us, as if he wants us all dead. this hurries us up.
"RUN!!!" alex screams. so we do. we run far and fast, off the train and as far as we can until me and alex collapse due to our weak-ass lungs.
"i think we lost him." maria says, out of breath.
"what happens now??" i say.
"now we go to the outer banks." alex says and we all scream 'whoops' and 'yays'.
