"Karla come on hurry up wake up and come downstairs" I heard my mom yell "mom its only 8 in the morning" I yelled back "I don't care karla we have to talk to you hurry up" she said back ugh I guess I got up and put in some decent clothes grey sweatpants and a black hoodie that said xo on it my black uggs put my hair in a messy bun and my regular make up "Karla what's taking you so long" I heard my mom yell

"I'm here I'm here" I said as I was walking down the stairs "come here sit down on the couch" my mom said "uh ok what's going on" I asked confused they looked mad/upset "well we have bad news,and we don't know how your going to take this"my dad said "uh ok I'm sure I'll handle it" i said calmly "well sweetie we're moving to Los Angeles California, within the next 2 months we have to be out" my mom said "but why, I don't understand I need to stay here" I said "baby we're-" my mom said but I cut her off and left for a walk

Karla's POV
A big part of me wants leave North Carolina and start a new life and forget about everything but the other part of me wants to stay and finish my senior year and graduate with my friends that's all I ever wanted. Why can't my parents just stay here until I graduate.

Mom&Dad's POV
We know karla is upset about this, she had told us before that all she ever wanted was to graduate here with her friends and then maybe move and start a new chapter in her life with them, but unfortunately it can't be that way we don't always get what we want and she should understand that.

"I just don't understand why they're doing this to me lauren,I don't want to leave you girls I want to stay here" I said and tears fell down my cheeks "it's ok karla don't worry about us maybe that is the best for you,to leave and start a new chapter in your life" Lauren said and pulled me in for a hug maybe she's right maybe I should just leave,maybe that's what I need. "Ok fine I guess so I'll think about it,I have to go now but all of us have to hang out later at night ok" I said and wiped my tears off "yes for sure just text me/us what time I love you" she said "I love you too" I said and left her house.
